i just got this back yesterday.....
it had the barrel changed out...(long story...warranty work)
anyhow the nice slant brake is gone and now im stuck with this

it needs to go


i think its 1.5x24??? I have NFI..its righty tighty for sure anyways

also 7.62x39 on a bulgarian barrel

That looks like SHIT! WTF kind of crappy US brake is that? Is that rust I see on the detent pin? Shove that so far back up the manufacturer's ass that it comes out the top of their head!

and let us know who built it so we may avoid them.

i think its 1.5x24 RH but that is really just a guess.

its a bulgarian ssr-85c-2 barrel


the one i sent off was a polytech barrel

but it shot 1 foot left

I just searched for that threading and came up with nada. Are you sure that is right? If it's the standard Bulgy style then it would be a part of the FSB and be 24 (IIRC).

Another idea is to dremel it to resemble a Vortec flah hider, ot all that difficult really.

Bring it Saturday, we'll put some rounds through that and my two Romanians. Heck, I've got one I need to adjust the sights on....and I've got plenty of ammo. If you want a 7.62 slant, I have one in good condition that you are welcome to.
