It is in the Education Bldg at the Fairgrounds.  It is a MN Weapons Collectors Show so in theory it should be a decent sized show. Do not know if DPMS is coming though?  Otherwise it is the best bet till the one in St. Paul. in December

 I am now officially AR-15less...

On a more positive note...  I'm using this as an excuse to save up some more $$ and to build another AR-15 from parts.  The one I'm looking to build is going to have a 16" lightweight barrel, A2 Upper, collapsible stock, bayo lug, and flash hider...  The classic "Evil" configuration.

Brah

You can't do a light weight with a bayo lug.. OK you can.. but the bayo won't work

And I would suggest an A1 configuration. The A2 has too many parts in the sight system.... and I know you have NEVER seen anyone "dial" a shot in a carbine.

My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

i went to the show today, but didn't see anything i wanted.  DPMS was there, but wanted $275 for a complete lower.  too much for me.  no deals on mags though.  one nice priced ar at like $700 with bayo lug and hider.  others still has Prebans for $1400!

Its funny, alot of "junk" went up in price. Especially for this show.
hi-cap mags were a bit cheaper. (folks trying to dump what theyhave)
I found a nice side folder for my Ruger mini-14. ($90 was too high, though)
I looked at the prices for Wolf and PMC ammo and I wasn't impressed.
(sportsman guide has the same stuff ALOT cheaper)

I saw that Vulcan has new-post-post ban M-11 for $199.
(Vulcan has good deals all the time...I just never have enough money!)

It was neat to see other folks there with their kids.
I was there with my daughter on my shoulders for an hour or so.
A couple of tables had candy for kids. But nothing free for us big folks. :(

All the women working the tables were happy to see my little one. I picked up a holster for my Model 19 S&W. My daughter took the bag and held it like it was hers. She also took the change from the $20. (bad habits start early, I guess)

I was talking to one of the cops walking the floor.
He said hello to my daughter and she waved back.
After talking to one of the guys running a table, he also braught up the fact that alot of dad are bringing their boys AND girls to shows.

I replied, "My wife won't come with me, but, she agrees with me 100%. If our daughter is in trouble or being chased, where would you want her to run to for help: A gun store/gunshow or a library/resturant?"

She is only 2, so, my time there was limited. (had to go home and have PB&J and milk before her nap)

Typical MNWC show..  Not that great of military selection, and the prices were high as usual..

I think he needs to wear a dress or something.

Being broke ain't fun...having to sell you gun sucks just as bad. (unless you never shot it)

take care.
