I recently did a trade deal with someone that required me to ship from an FFL and receive to an FFL and I haven't been completely happy with the service. It seems the place is treating me like poo since I didn't do business with him to get a new gun even though I have bought a gun there in the past and also spend quite a bit on ammo and range time there. I'd like to find a place that is courteous about having a gun shipped in for an FFL transfer. I live in NE ohio. Where do you have yours shipped to?

I'm a member at Big Bore in Eastlake. They're very conducive to transfers for members. $15 per 4473.

I honestly don't know about their terms for non-members.

the best place i go to is www.mdshootingsupplies.com/ it's either $10 or $15 for the transfer. i've done quite a few of them from him. he's off of Pearl Rd, just east of B&T.

www.mdshootingsupplies.com/

[Killed the rogue space between the second / and the first w.] Nothing on the site, though, it's under severe construction.

Penn Station in New Phila does ffl transfers for $1.00.

I second Penn Station in New Phila about 1 hour from Cleveland, but great to deal with and it's only a dollar.

I don't know of a gun shop which won't do a FFL transfer for you. It's all a matter of what "value" they place on their services.

Greg wanted to charge me $50 for a lower transfer. When I called him out he said that was his profit margin on new guns. I went to GoneHun10 in Madison for the first time and dropped $20.

Rockhound, what was the place that tried to charge you $50?

Keep hearing a radio ad on a Canton station for a shop somewhere around New Philly called "Penn Station". They are advertising 1$ internet transfers!!!!

I also would recommend MD shooting supplies. The owner is a nice guy and is very reasonable. I have done 3-4 transfers through him.

Other than the difficulty finding MDSS in the dark the transfer process is painless and inexpensive. $15. Cops get a $5 discount. He ain't getting rich doing this. This is an appointment only "shop" with no inventory, just special orders.
