my brother in law has most of the gear and is looking at getting in to 3 gun. Wondering if there are any 3 gun matches in the grand junction/fruita area that aren't to difficult to get in to and have some people friendly to new comers.

The only thing I found with a quick Google search was in Gunnison, a couple hours or so away.

Rifle Sportsmen's Club has Action Pistol but not 3 Gun. An hour away.

Rocky Mountain Gun Club has an indoor range with guns, including a few full autos, for rent. They might know if there's a nearby range that does 3 Gun.

It might be hit or miss if you ask at Jerry's Outdoor Sports, Cabela's or Sportsmans Warehouse though.

They had some last year at the whitewater range. Lemme see if I can find info.

No info found, but they are shooting IDPA and USPSA at the Jarvis range in whitewater.  Have him look up action pistol group. The Jarvis facility is very nice btw.
