The old Texas Shooters indoor range apparently was bought and in the midst of remodeling as the Memorial Oaks Shooting Club near Bunker Hill and I-10. So far it is very basic but they plan to add turning targets and horizontally moving targets as well. Just FYI for anyone near the west beltway

noticed that they re-opened about a month or two ago.

when it was texas shooters it was a pretty nice place to shoot. wonder if they are open to the public?

The REAL question is do they allow SMGs? If not I don't want to have anything to do with them. Also was this the range that allowed only non lead safe ammo bought from them only?

think the range you are refering to is topgun but they have changed that to only fmj for pistol rounds and frangible for rifles.

We NFA owners should have a meeting with the new ownsers and talk to them about NFA and allowing it on their range.

I've shot there a couple of times. They're pretty basic right now - 10 lanes with hand-cranked targets. They have prices listed for ammo, but I didn't see any there. It's not members only or anything, and they didn't even ask about the type of ammo (I was shooting UMC Mega-Packs). I was the only guy there aside from the range master, who didn't appear to be watching very closely.

yeah when they were texas shooters the set up was the same but there was usually two guys there and they would usually join us in shooting at least one of them would.
