I don't think those days are coming back until we pull our military forces back home. They've seen what a half dozen brigades can do and they know we have 33 of them plus the Marines. So fuck it, I can pay a little more. |

Just ordered some FMJ, supposedly it's in stock, and will ship in 3-6 business days.w00T! We'll see.  D-B Huh? I'm inclinded to think the price of Wolf/any russian AK ammo, is directly linked to the price of oil, and the fact the ruskies are beginning to grasp the concept of capitolism. (Not to mention the military contracts they just filled for IRQ) I don't really think it has anything to do with anyone's deployment schedule.... |

Chavez ordered 100,000 AKs from the Russians. I figure that is worth a couple hundred million rounds at the minimum, but possibly much, much more. No doubt he has Bolivia buying, as well. Iran is buying, I can't imagine why....

I forgot to ask James about the 7.62 situation but I did ask one of the other ammo vendors and he told me to hold out till May and that prices should be much more reasonable. I didn't see ANY there at all.

Wolf is supose to be flooding the market here shortly. But, I am doubtful. there is strong demand right now. wolf is the onlything that has been coming in. And it has not been real regular. I was hearing late fall, winter, that we would have plenty now. It never came to pass. Instead it has gotten worse. I only had a little this weekend (3K) That did not last long. I think that bigscrun is right this is the high point in the roller coaster ride. But I have been wrong before. we shall see.
P.S. I am in the market if you are looking to sell.

Mine just arrived. Geez, they really overpack this stuff. I was able to repack all 3K rounds from 6 field boxes down to 2. They must pack it the way they do so as not to give the poor UPS guy a hernia. At least this kind of overpacking material is usefull.
