was in a pawn shop after work and saw an employee carring an O/U shotgun behind the counter,  he put something in , pointed the muzzle away and BANG!  scared the crap out of me and several others including him.

come to find out they keep fired shotgun shells so they can snap shotguns without damaging the firing pin.   employee looked at the shell and verified the end was open by poking his finger in,   didn't look at the primer, just inserted in gun and pulled the trigger.   it was just the primer that fired the wadding, but still had the same effect of scaring us, also could have put someone's eyes out or maimed them.

good thing was he had good muzzle discipline.   i bet he didn't move for 5 minutes

so it fired the primer, charge and wad?

Ewwww...  Hope they made him clean it up, because I don't know of any pawn shops that have jizzmoppers on staff.
