We must never offend anyone.

... Some pictures from this weekend's "Cool" shoot up the hill. An absolute fantastic weekend! Midnight, f/a belt-fed, 1000 yard, tracer fire is always a great sight/sound.

... No one was told what to do. For the most part, this is a very mature and responsible crowd. As always, if you're gonna drink (and people most certainly do) it's best you pack up your shooting for the day. I feel far more safe with this crowd than any Saturday morning at any given public range

... Several Navajo County Sheriff officers came out for an hour or so to watch. They came back after hours with beer to join the fun I understand.

... Heck after nightfall, nearly every camp had a party of some sort going on to the wee hours.

Thanks for coming up. I'm bummed that I wasn't able to see the IR laser tho.

Yea it was a super safe shoot.

I would say that most of the people that were there are the same ones that hit AZstan.

Hey looks like fun ! I use to go to azstan until all the hipe . It looks a lot cooler there and futher away from things . I'll bring up some machineguns for the next shoot just let me know thanks .

Sounds like marriage material to me. My wife's been hoping for a "range accident" for years.

Would it make you jealous if I told you she rode the other leg of the 90mm with me when I fired it?

Godamn was that a fun weekend. Wasn't my vid Winston, I'm still trying to convert my teazer. Would have been nice if that 191 in between us actually WORKED. I have a vid for the blooper real of it going maybe 8 rounds then the top cover flips up and the belt falls to the ground. I'll have a decent length DVD out here in a week or two, depending on my transportation situation. LOTS of video, thanks to all the generous other camera people and my frequent trips to the end of the line and back which resulted in some pretty bad sunburn on my arms. And for those of you who heard of my exploits Saturday night/Sunday morning(the only REAL party), make sure you watch my teazer all the way to the end.

As promised, here is the video. http://s35.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=29AV3WYF5ST1U3G8LIXW39FJYQ

Not meant to be that great, just a teaser for the DVD. Has some good clips in there, I would be the guy firing the 90mm with another person behind me, then later dumping a mag out of a supressed M4.

That is funny. I don't recall seeing a 90mm cannon in your video??? Or did you mean just your package of tannerite was bigger?

It was 50 lbs, and they blew a big chunk off that rock. The rest of it is fairly well cracked. Should be fun to finish it off.
Link Posted: 9/27/2005 7:48:19 PM EDT
This pic is from the Cool Shoot. This is the Crater left by the 35 pound Tannerite Bomb. The guy in the pic is 6'5" and 400 pounds. He was in the crater up past his knees and at some points close to his waist. The yellow dots are to show the edge of the hole.. You may have blown a rock in half but we made a hole we could bury this Big Guy in.....

Do you have many machine guns, suppressors, SBRs, or SBSs show up at LCRs?

... No they don't sp0rk - in fact they have a sum-total of zero, privately owned such wares.

... They can't even hang out around huge campfires playing with lasers without violating some WA State law.
