Long range forecast calls for highs next week to be in the 60's but in the city it will feel much colder with the buildings. I'd bring a jacket since it's always better to have and not need versus the reverse. Have fun!

I go to school in the city. Every morning I head out wearing a tshirt and BDU jacket. Been that way for the past few weeks, this one included, even with the rain. I packed a longsleeve shirt in my backpack just in case, but haven't needed it yet.

Nice outfit...get much notice from the guys on the street? W_W - I'd recommend a light jacket (poplin or nylon....REAL light) and maybe a fleece vest as a middle layer. Both pack small, are water-repellent, and should cover any early November Manhattan weather.
