I received an email yesterday morning concerning a "misplaced" handgun.
The firearm in question is a Taurus Model 605 (Catalog # 2-605129C). It's a stainless 5 shot .357 with a 2" ported barrel, bobbed hammer, DAO. SN QE734xx. This firearm was last seen by it's Original Purchaser (the gal listed on the yellow sheet for this firearm) in January of 2005. I'm off to the Team Forum to post this. ETA a pic. This isn't the exact gun, but it's damn close.  |

Where, about , in NC was it "misplaced"? An exact SN would be helpful. I don't get out much, except to work 70+ hrs. a week, but I do hear about..uh..."questionable" things for sale on the jobsite from time to time.
I'll "keep an ear out" for it. |

Was it reported? If not it can be bought, and sold through FFL's. The sooner the better. If the gun is found not to be stolen, it can always be taken off the list.
