Yes it is paved.  I drove over it last fall to see the "ghost towns" at Bearcreek and Washoe.

If you stay in Red Lodge, make sure you tip a few at the Snow Creek Saloon.....eh, I feel a hangover coming on just thinking about that place.

Gotta go to Bear Creek Lodge and do a little bettin on the pig races...guaranteed good time.

Snow is nice..I kinda like the biker trash at the Snag though...
