I'll be going to both this show and Carlisle next weekend. I am looking to get a Yugo underfold AK in excellent condition. Anyone know of a good dealer in Maryland near Westminster to do transfers if the show doesn't have any YUGO's?
Link Posted: 2/12/2006 2:08:05 PM EDT
cobra928, My dealer is in Westminster and he may be with me at the York show. I will talk to him in the next day or two to see what day is good for him to go, maybe we could meet you there.

I will post you a note here in the next day or so.

SnprPSG1,

Sounds like a plan. I live right here in Westminster too. I am looking forward to these gun shows. Looking to get another toy possibly if the price is right. Hopefully they are better than the MD shows though. I have not experienced or have gotten good feedback about MD shows.

Just talked with Satch over in Thurmont. He seems like a real nice guy. I am going to check his store out this coming week. Transfers are only $35 dollars from what he told me.

Keep me posted on your palns for the shows.

Troy

Troy, No problem I will let you know. I don't know the guy in Thurmont. I am 15 min from Westminster but still in Carroll.

Does that $35.00 dollars include the MSP paper work fee and the postage for the paperwork or is that seperate? If it includes MSP's fees and postage that is a good deal!!

I will let you know after I talk to my dealer what day I will be there.

Bob.

He told me that the tranfer for assault rifles is the same as a pistol. $35.00. I asked him about a MSP fee and any other fees and he simply said the price was all included in the $35.00. Good deal I thought. I will be going in there on Thursday.

I will see you at the gun show.

I'll probably be there on the 25th right around the time they open. Have some things to do in the evening. Maybe see some of you guys there.
Link Posted: 2/14/2006 2:52:45 PM EDT
That is a good deal if that includes the MSP fee. I would not hesitate to use him them if I were you!

Still not sure what day I will be there, Sat or Sun.

Well I made it up this morning. Pretty good show. Saw some 30 rd AR mags for around 13 bucks. I bought 10 boxes of 223 for 6 bucks a box. Kept handling a Storm but left it there. One more gun to add to the list.

I was there this morning, man that place was packed!

I think I spotted BBQMan but couldn't catch up to him through the herd.

I was there most all day, left around 3:30, bought a tactical light for the Bushy, and a couple of sleaves of tactical 000 buck from the guy out front of the main show in the hall. My buddy bought one of the Yugo sks's in the crates for 169 bucks, good deal but it's the going price. Not much in the way of 5.56 ammo but the two blonde chics out by the Harley were HOT
Link Posted: 2/25/2006 4:35:37 PM EDT
Was there for 9:00-1:30 bought a lula loader 3 25 rnd uzi mags to modifiy for my ar 9mm small rife primers. Place was packed.Saw 30 rnd .233 mags $9.44. Not much .223. And yes those chicks were HOT. I wonder if they were real? lol

I picked up a sweet 1903 at a good deal. I'll be back next time. Lots of good deals and friendly vendors. OK ammo prices. Not great, but not bad though.

How much were the Uzi mags? Were there other vendors with them? I am looking for them including ones in 45 ACP. Any class III stuff? Thinking of going to Harrisburg in March.

Btw, were there any 25 or 50 rnd .22LR mags?

Doh! I'm glad I didn't catch up to the guy then.

.22 mags for what kind of rifle?
I saw 10/22 high caps but didn't see any AR conversion type mags, I wasn't really looking though.

Thanks, cheaper than the usual shows, depending on round capacity.
