I have just aquired an interesting firearm its an Eagle Semi Auto 45acp. It has the somewhat looks of a Thompson, has an open bolt but no cocking handle you have to put your finger inside and pull the bolt. It has a very low ser# (2 digits).

So tagged! Look at the tubular receiver - looks like an Ingram6 or whatever those were called.

It's not. But that Commando Arms thread has lots of info on fake/ look alike thompsons.
That is an odd bird. Good luck with it. As far a value goes... probably not much to get excited about. Better to have the Thompson. JR |

The one in the bottom of this picture from that thread looks the same, to my untrained eye.

It is the same - the poster with that photo in the thread refers to the Eagle carbine, though the main discussion is about the other Thompson look-alikes. |
