What can you people tell me about Woodstock?  I've stopped in that area for gas a couple of times, but that is about it.

Is it overrun by DC refugees yet?

I know there's a Five Guys burger joint there, a HUGE WalMart and a Tractor Supply store.

Nope Woodstock is largely still untouched, Think "Frontroyal" only smaller..........Udog
P.S. Im About 20mins north of Woodstock.

What are housing prices down that way...still making my mind up about staying in VA .vs heading to NC.  Right now, it looks like the cheapest you can get a detached home in the state of VA anywhere you'd want to live is about $225K.  There's probably lots of nice houses out there, but I'm just going by websites and FSBO stuff.

Well really cant speak for Woodstock,...I suspect housing is a bit cheaper than Winchester/Federick Co.
$225k in Federick Co. will buy a 1000-1200- Sq ft rancher, But to be fair the Novaites have taken over Federick Co. so housing has gone crazy.............Udog
