Just letting everyone know.

I saw 01-20-06:

.223 55 grain FMJs (500 for $67.99)
.223 55 grain JHPs (Forgot to check price)
7.62x39 122 grain HPs (Forgot to check price)
7.62x39 154 grain SPs (Forgot to check price)
.308 150 grain FMJs (500 for $99.99)

At least two to three 500 round tubs (those crappy green plastic ammo boxes they've got) of each visible.

I didn't see 7.62.x39 FMJs but I didn't dig.  The bulk ammo section was quite full though.  Pistol ammo on the east side and Rifle ammo on the west side.

If you have their latest ammo and reloading catalog you can check the prices.

It seems everyone's been having trouble finding even Wolf online so I thought I'd pass this along in case someone was up for a drive......

Those Crappy green ammo boxes are great.

They are Water and Air Tight.

Last time I was at the new store in Rogers they had a lot of bulk .45 Long Colt.

Nothing worth buying.

No .45ACP,.40S&W, 9mm, .357mag.

Nothing.

I stick to the Catalog.

I was in Cabela's, Rogers Friday. Saw 40SW, 45 and 9mm in bulk.

You can get most anything thru catalog, and the shipping is cheap.
Shhhh...secret..

Cabela's in Rogers had American Eagle 7.62x39, 20rds. $9.00!!! I always thought AE was crap ammo. Not in the rifle bullet aisle, but on a small shelf above their display of "varmint rifles" on our side of the counter.

Take note for ammo definitions:

There are two  types of ammo

1. Spankin Ammo (range ammo)

2. Zombie Ammo (SHTF ammo)

American Eagle 7.62x39 would be excellent Zombie ammo

Damn zombies. If they don't kill you first, they'll certainly put a hurt on your wallet.

If you can at least pick up bulk 7.62x39 right now I would have to say your good to go.  That stuff isn't getting any easier to find right now.

You think the wolf is over priced, next time your there look at the alloy G3 magazines.

I was at Gander Mountain in Maple Grove yesterday.  They had surplus .308 there for $69.99 for 400 rounds (.17 per round).  The sign said Century Arms.  It was headstamped "75 M80" and then I think it was "BFA" not sure though.  It was loaded on 5 round stripper clips that were loaded 2 to a compartment on some type of cloth belt, and then placed in ammo cans.  I don't use .308 and am not current on prices, but i thought I'd let everyone know in case it's a good deal.

Just came back from Cabela's in Rogers.  They do have a bit of 7.62x39 in stock.  I picked up 1000 rounds of HP for $139 out the door.  $40 more than what I would have liked to have paid but it seems to be the only stuff around.  They had two more cans of the HP stuff that I could see, at 65.99 I beleive.  500 rounds per can of  course.  They had tons of SP there at 69.99 a can.  At least 6 cans that I counted.

If I wasn't looking for 7.62x39 so damn bad I would have left empty handed.  I wanted to fondle a couple pistols while I was in there but the asshats behind the counter just kept ignoring me like I had a sign on my head that read, "Don't let this guy handle any pistols."

I'm not that crazy looking am I?
