Well, its about that time again and I figure what better way to start the new year (25 days into it of course) than have you guys over for some food, booze, show and tell, and some buying and selling of gear and guns.
Apologies for the run-on, but what can I say. I would like to do this on the 25th of January. As usual, I'll need some help in consumables department. I six pack here and there never hurts, and the food you guys brought last time was absolutely awesome. So, here is what I need from you: 1- Post up if you can make it 2- Post what gear/guns you have for sale or what you are looking for 3- If you can contribute some food, which obviously you do not have to, please post up just so we can avoid having 6 bags of lays potato chips 
As always, family and friends are not only welcome, but encouraged to come. We are cigar friendly as well, so feel free to bring those as well. BTW, Merry Christmas guys

If anyone has a Daewoo DR-200 they are looking to part with (or even to bring along so I can see one in person) I sure woudl apprecaite it.

I always have my 1911 available, though if you're looking for an aesthetic marvel from Miller, mine is not the answer as I haven't (yet) had him do any work on the outside.
If you'd like to know what the best 1911 trigger feels like though, I can help you out
ALSO If anyone has an extra AK sight pusher (windage for the front), I am in need of one. Any 5.45 kits, or 5.45 mags...if the price is right I can always be swayed. |

Also, I remeber some member who was at the last party brought their Robarms XCR with them, would someone mind bringing one again so I could look it over? I'll bring my MSAR STG-556 again so people can check it out. |

1- I can make it.
2- I will have 1800 rounds of 8mm if anybody is interested. Looking for 7.62X54 instead. I also have some gear (other than a bunch of AK bayonets) that I will go through and edit this post soon. 3- I will get the S.O. to make some appitizer of some sort. I can always bring some beer too. Oh and I got a copy of the Magpul "Art of the Tactical Carbine" DVD that I can bring if anyone wants to see it.

Building my own 1911, if I finish it by then, I'll bring it along.
Looking for once fired 45 acp brass. Also have some 300 to 600pcs of once fired 10mm Federal American Eagle brass if anyone wants to trade. |

Bought an Essex stainless steel frame from Brownelles. Ordered it through Village Sports in Arlington Hgts. It was $150, not sure if I got the friends and family discount, I forget how to read the pricing in Brownelles. Receiver has a matte finish to it. Looks good with the Sarco parked comercial slide. Village also ordered a parked Essex steel 1911 frame for another customer. The stainless looks nicer. Broke the top angles on the frame rails and was able to get the slide on. Now am cleaning up the front of the rails where they curve & meet the front of the slide. Haven't had a lot time to work on this yet. Too many other projects, reloading, and cleaning up a rusty JC higgins shotgun. |

Either way, the 25th works for me...but if we can change it to the 24th that might be a little better... Let me know what works for you guys, I dont want to screw anybody out of it who could do sunday instead of saturday. Figure 1PM either day will work just fine. |

I may be in the market for an inexpensive .22
I *might* also have a stripped DPMS reciever and LPK, and a spare 22lr conversion kit for the AR. Not sure about that one yet, part of a possible trade I am working with someone right now. |

Oh yeah, I never posted that I'll be here, but, I should be able to. Think I may bring either some wings or sliders....what is everyone's preference?

I got all the tools needed to put together an AR with the exception of any proprietary tools for rails.
