Well heres a deal for anyone who does not mind cleaning their M1 after shooting.

Corrosive Korean 30-06 KA in clips and bandos at Wideners. $56.00 / 384 rnd 50cal Can

www.wideners.com/itemview.cfm?dir=18|190|191

When you see it on the main surplus rifle ammo page it says $74.00 for 384 rnd 50cal Can/ . But when you click on the link and go to the item detail is says $56.00 . ( .14 cents before shipping) and if you put it in your cart it processes as such. 2 cans for $112.00 . And bandos and clips.

This is not a terrible deal. I have found KA to shoot as well as PS or de-linked lake city from the CMP ( I have not tried HXP )

Three years ago I would have looked down my nose at this and got "PS" headstamp instead. Today I do not mind cleaning for salty primers.

Note; I tried to order 4 cans and they hit me with $70.00 shipping to IL. When I reduced to two cans it was just $20 and change for shipping. ( order twice )

$133.00 per 768 rds shipped to Northern IL. $0.17 cents per round. It'l never be this cheap again.

KA has smell all its own (it might be erotic to some). The bandos are nice and clean. A few of the clips have some rust spots on the bottom. Nothing to impair feeding, function or more storage. I don't remember if it's Boxer or Berdan primed.

Oh yeah.... they ship to IL.

Damn, that's a great deal. I just checked, and they're sold out.

I don't mind corrosive in a bolt gun, but in my M1's it would be a pain in the ass.

Thanks for the info, but I've got a case or two of LC still lying around.
