I was talking with a friend today.... about the Hun Farm, and what makes it so special.
It is really hard to describe to others who havent been there. It is, after all, just a patch of land. I realized, that when I go out there, I completely forget about all my problems. My life away from the farm ceases to exist. All that really matters at the farm, is what is going on out there, right then. Surrounded by friends, many or few, the farm is intoxicating. I never really could put my finger on it before, or why the trip home sucked so bad. Now I realize why. Funny, I go camping other places all the time.... but something about the Hun Farm is different. All your burdens and worries seem to drift away when you cross through the front gate. Why is that? |

Excuse the noobie, but ... what and where is the Hun Farm? I have heard SO much about it, and would like to visit, but ... how does one go/get on/gain access?
By the way Falarak gets a plus one in my book on a pointer he PM'd me about, say, a couple of weeks ago on a group buy. Good guy. |

There is something special about waking up to automatic gunfire and tannerite blowing up. Having some ETH brand margaritas makes it even more interesting.
Nothing quite like the farm! |

FAL...How much does Hunster pay you to post this? |
I feel the same way about the farm. I have talked one of my friend from work into coming this time. He is very progun guy he use to have a 50 bmg. It hard it put the Hun farm into words. It the people ,freedom and firearms.

Ummm....I still worry about "muzzle swiping", about "where to take a sheesh", about "should I take a shower or not", about "adults running around with smoke bombs, firecrackers.......", etc., etc..... What you talking about, Willis? |
Who got their muzzle swiped?
In the sheesher, of course.
Mexicans take showers?
I dont know that I have ever seen an adult at the farm. |

How does that song go? "Hun Farmers Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other" |

I refuse to participate in this inner circle of gheyness. ...and get the hell out of my chair!

I just assumed FALARAK had the Hun Farm mixed up with his memories of Neverland Ranch.
I must have been remiss in my assumptions. My apologies, FAL. I hope we're still pals. I owe you a Jesus Juice next time I see you. |

Just play some Go-Go's, and he's yours! |
You know, I've said that to everybody I work with. Nobody got it. |
I really want to go, but I have no one to go with, the ride I mean. Jessica doesnt want to go.
That would be the breaker for me, I have everything but driving there alone for me is a big bummer. |
Why? You have any idea how many times I have driven alone to the Hun farm....or my Utah trips for that matter. |
Ever thought about a shower? |
Whats that? |
WoW!!! You sure do get around! ETA: It's about 230 miles from Dallas to the Hun Farm. That's not even enough time to get bored |
Its like 120 miles from Lubbock to the hun farm. Round trip is less than a tank of gas. |
Why Jessica doesn't want to go? How's her leg from the trip? From Dallas to Hun Farm is nothing. Guys from Houston were known to drive about 7 to 8 hrs alone to the Hun farm. |
Yep 8 fricking hours and I live on the North side....up to the farm ain't so bad....but coming back after not sleeping for two days is kinda rough.... |
I can do that too! Dallas to Crowell and back. But then again, the Suburban Assault Vehicle has a 45 gallon fuel tank. And a 454 |
and i've still made the trip twice once with a 496 with a 26 gallon tank so cry me a river on that aspect!!! |
It only cost me $55 worth of gas to get there and back. Not $110 like ya. Plus I've got buddies to split the gas costs with |
Even though I promised NOT to piss myself...I was still extended an invitation.....i love it already! (I've never even been there...yet)
Look out Hunfarm...y'all done 'invited' a Kaintuckian!!! |
I've got gas! |
I'm coming, with 0-3 of my buddies. |
Well her leg got spread alot but here ARM is okay...... She has a wedding to go to.........I hate the people getting married, so I am not going. I might still go...... |
Its worth the drive to come out. Bullets, BBQ, Beer, and Booze! |
One of these days I really need to get up there and check it out.
However considering my current vehicle and finances the other side of Texas might as well be the otherside of the country. |
What part of Texas? There will be a cnvoy of at least three vehicles leaving from Canton on Thursday or Friday. TRG |

I took a chance when I drove down from Des Moines last Spring in the Ambulance as all I had to go by was the stories that I'd heard from AR-Sniper-15 and what I'd read on ARFcom about the Hun Farm. I had a blast and will never forget the time I had and shared with others...I hadn't seen the bottom of a Cessna that close before! I hope to attend in the Fall but we'll see what the fuel prices are and how busy things are around here. Those of you who are thinking about attending will NEVER doubt your decision and will be looking forward to the next Hun Farm get-together just like all the rest of us.

Grab TexRdnec and head up. He was already bitching about not having a buddy to ride with. TRG |
