It's not Narcolepsy ,it's from the boredom of listening to you flap you gums.
Everyone try to meet up near Altamont's table around 12:30 Saturday and maybe we can slap together a plan for lunch real quick. I am easy to spot, just look for a big, hulking redhead with a dark blue work jacket on. Since I will have been up for quite a while I will probably be grumpier than usual. I do look forward to seeing any ARF people we can flush out though. ETA:Altamont is the dealer with all the cool C3 toys. |

I've never been to the Hickory show before. What's it cost to get in? Any parking fee?
And is it worth the trip from Gastonia? I don't want to drive all the way up there just to have only 2 tables...... with beef jerky and jewelry. |

No parking fee, admission is $7. The last show was slow but I hear that the holiday show is better.

I'm going Sunday at around opening time. I'm looking for a Glock 19 and maybe a 1911 if I find a good enough deal. I'll have the multicam hat with the Calico Jack flag on it. Say hi or sell me your G19 for cheap.

Hell yeah it was packed!! We got there at 0900 and left about 1130. I briefly met one member. Trainsomething...I think. I'm terrible with names. I still call my wife "Hey you." after all these years.
 The show was better than I expected, But smaller than I hoped.  Damn, I need some 7.62X39 ammo...for a decent price |

It was a great show for people watching.... I'm still a little confused though, why was u352 trying to find hooter colored reactive targets? Or was it gopher hooter shaped orange targets? Oh well, any of those would be considered reactive. Was good to meet JMW2 and Five. Oh one other thing, next time we get a waitress that has the bird flu we're changing areas. How bout that Eddie Munster on crack?
F3 I may have to go back tomorrow and get me some of that "Armor Piercing" M855 ammo that was on sale for $24 for 50 rounds. Never know when a Hummer may attack.... |
