Bulletfest DATE: June 28, 2003 PLACE: Snodes Melon Farm and Restored Country Barn, Minerva, Ohio www.geocities.com/Bulletfest This is my first year going Bulletfest is a fun shoot that OUR HERO CAMPYBOB ® puts on in Ohio. Campybob is one of the guys here and is nice enough to put a ton of time and effort into a fun shoot that everyone can go to. There are a lot of full-auto guns and I think you can rent them, they charge a certain amount of money per magazine. Of course you can bring your own firearm and either bring ammo or buy it there. I think it's $ 10 or something minimal like that. Gas, fee for the campsite, food should be pretty minimal. Ammo and whatever you want to spend on shooting machineguns are the main expenses. I really don't think it should cost very much, you will have to take Friday off from work unless you want a long drive late in the day. There are (there better be!!) a bunch of guys from NYC/Long Island coming if you live in that area. Lots of fun meeting the guys from the board and these kinds of things are where you get to meet the guys from other states that you only know from the board. You also get to see a lot of guns that you might not have gotten to play with before. |

I am going,of course.
Aimless, I(we) will be leaving hopefully around 4 PM,if you want to convoy with us we can meet wherever is convenient for you on the way there. Hotdog40, If you get there early enough,take a large space foor the NY/NJ Detachment. Leave me some room for a tent,not too close to the water .The one you had last time near the water was perfect! |

Ed, I'm gonna grab the same section by the pond as the second night last year. It's far enough away from the "main area" that we can get some sleep while the rest of the party continues to whenever. Just look for my flagpole and mention my name to Vinnie and Nunzio: they'll be the two no-neck, 300 pounders manning the velvet rope. Edited to add: Also, the shoreline is gently sloped with NO SUDDEN DROP-OFFS.

PSYWAR- I am leaving on Friday afternoon to meet EdSr to drive out. You are welcome to ride with me, though the vehicle I am taking (the embarrassingly bright blue and pink "Malibu Barbie Jeep") is not the most comfortable highway vehicle. I suppose you have ridden in much worse under harsher conditions though.

Have been feeling real shitty and been out of work for a week, so it's going to be tight, but I can't miss Campy for 2 years in a row, he'll cry like a little girl! I can drive with EdSr or we can each take our trucks if need be. I will discuss it with him and figure it out. Only planning on taking my AI 308, an HK (or two!), and probably an AR (or two?)... shit maybe I am planning on taking a lot. Im staying home because I am afraid of a group beat down from Ed, you and a few other people. Actually my buddy just got engaged and the party is friday. unless some miracle happens and they break up I wont be there. Ed will have to wait til the next meetup to kick my ass.

I am taking friday and monday off. Not really vacation but it will be my first real vacation since the 1st BRC in June 2002. I plan on leaving right from NYC on thursday morning about 11am. |
