I am looking for a dealer to order a DCI yugo underfolder ak reciever for me. Who can get me out the door for $110 or less? (the reciever costs $70 shipped.) I am in Columbus but will travel a little for a reasonable dealer. I.M. me and I'll pay in advance. I talked to several shops in Columbus and have had no luck. (no returned calls, insane transfer fees) Thanks for the help in advance.

Punch in your zip code and it will list guys available to handle transfers.  I live in Dayton but work in Columbus.  I use a guy in Eaton, OH.  It is a bit of a drive but I am sure he would handle your transfer.  His information is:

James Smith
J&C Guns
421 Elmwood Dr
Eaton, OH 45320
email: Click here to email me
phone: 937-456-2545

Hours: 9:00 am-8:00 pm sun 12:00-5:00
Transfer fee: $20.00

Another alternative is to drive to Dayton this weekend and go to Bill Goodman's gun and knife show.  There is usually someone there who sells the receivers that you mention.

Good Luck

$20.00 transfer sounds good to me.I don't mind a drive, but the $45.00 transfer for a $70.00 reciever is bull.  Edited to add, Just talked to James, It's a haul out there, but he was very nice and will send the ffl promptly. Thanks for the heads up. And there open till 8:00 wohoo.

I just talked to Jim today about handling another transfer for myself.  He is a super nice guy.
Glad I could help.

I know several in the Dayton area that will do them for $15 (some per firearm, 1 guy per transaction). I used to have contact info for a FFL in Columbus who charged $10 per transaction, do a search on gunbroker and you should find someone reasonable and close.

Jim's Guns and Whatever in Beavercreek. He will do your first transfer for free. But and to some people this is a big but,,,,the guy is a little out there. Please do not let him strike up a conversation with you about time travel, re-animation, star trek, lost in space(unless your into that sort of thing) or any other si-fi show. Just act like you are not interested or you will be there for hours. Prices are high on guns but even after the freebie his transfers ar still cheap.

Better yet, don't strike up a conversation at all. Doesn't seem to matter the subject, he does not shut up.

Amen to that!  The guy knows guns however.  If you want a tutorial just ask.
