I am having an impossible time finding a Walmart in South Florida that sells guns, let alone ammo.  I live right on the Palm Beach / Broward county line so if anyone knows of any Walmarts in South Palm Beach county or north Broward county that sells ammo, please post here.

Thanks

Don't buy guns feom Wal-mart. Wal-Mart is bad and supports our avowed enemy, China. Don't sendour dollars to China by giving money to Wal-Mart. You won't save much money and in the long run you save our country.

That said, if you insist, I think the Jupiter store sells guns. It's north of you, but only 30-40 minutes or so, not a long ride at all.  I know the Stuart store sells guns.

I agree with gmount on this, but I didn't realize that there were walmarts that didn't sell guns. Prolly don't have a manager that can pass a background check.

Apparently all of the ones near me lost their licenses for reasons i'm not aware of, but as a result they don't sell ammo or accessories anymore either.

I'm not going to buy a gun from them, but I want to buy that cheap White Box ammo I keep hearing about.

I buy White Box Winchester 223 from the big Wal-Mart in Boynton Beach where I live.  If you need directions, let me know.

The walmarts out here don't sell guns and ammo either.  At least not the two on Oahu.  I heard the big island one sells ammo but i'm not sure.

I was in Miami a few years ago and went into sports authority.  I was shocked that they didn't sell any guns or ammo either.  I never woulda thought.  Is that all sports authority stores in Miami area or just the one i went into??

There is only one Sports Authority in all of South Florida that still sells guns, it's the one on Okeechobee Blvd. in North Palm Beach county.

The Kendall Walmart still sells guns and ammo. I was just at the 117 Ave Sports Authority and no guns or ammo.

JoeyA you are real close to me. Have we ever run into each other like at pop's? I go there with my M-16 and Ak.

The Cooper City Wal-Mart on Flamingo and Griffin sells long guns and shotgun, rifle and pistol ammo.

I was there today and picked up 300 rounds of WWB VP 9mm. Now i have 1K rounds waiting for a trip to the range.

That's not true.  The SA in the Dolphin Mall sells guns and ammo.  Not to say I would ever buy from SA, as they are 20% more expensive than pretty much anywhere else.

As for Wally World-  The one on Okeechobee in Hialeah sells ammo, but I figure that's a little far south for you.

Yes, instead go to a local gun shop and pay at least twice the amount for the same shit. Some people have more money then sense I suppose. Dont go to Wal-mart and buy ammunition thats made in AMERICA by AMERICAN companies. Please also dont spend your money and buy a firearm that IS built by AMERICANS for  AMERICAN owned companies such as Savage, Mossberg and Winchester.

Im not going to entirely disagree with your statement because there is some truth. However by purchasing ammo/firearms from wal-mart you are supporting American companies. Not to mention that money is in turn providing for the  employees of Walmart who are coincidentally enough (mostly) American

I do not know of a Sports Authority on Okeechobee in West Palm Beach, there is one on Northlake Blvd a few exits north of there. 8 or more years ago Sports Authority made a VERY PUBLIC statement that it had decided to no longer carry guns or ammon in any of there stores. Maybe the rules chananged but I never stepped foot in the store after everything was pulled.

Wall-Mart they are sellouts! Just after Katrina I went to the local one in Jupiter and their display cases were empty. I did not think much of it since we had our own hurricanes and thought that they locked everything up incase of similar looting problems as in the big easy.  I asked a couple of weeks later a sales person and she confirmed that is what they did and no one has told them to put them back out.

Went for some ammo in November and asked what was up "you going out of the gun business" in a joking manner and she replied that all of the local Wallmarts were told not to sell firearms untill' further notice and that they may very well not be selling them anymore.  Also their inventory of ammo is really poor and in shambles, I am really thinking that they have decided and are keeping it quiet.

Aparently the problems in N.O. made the suits run for cover at corporate and it's ramifications are being felt in other parts of the country. Anyone here from Okeechobee Co ? The super wallmart up there has a big (or had a big) selection of guns and ammo. Wondering if it's the same problem up there or is it  just in this area where all the re-located northerners run everything!

American companies, but profit from the sale is going to build infrastructure in China. Also, Wal-mart forces companies to keep prices so low that they will eventually be forced to move offshore theselves if they want to stay a Wal-mart supplier. Look at this link: http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/77/walmart.html

Buyinf from Wal-Mart to save a a few dollars is not good in the long run for you and your children.

It is unblievable that you would say something that foolish, and yet run around and say that you are a patriot, and support this country, etc. Sometimes you have to do what is right for your country.  No one said being a good citizen is easy. I guess you just want to get the benefit of being a citizen without the responsibility, like all the other liberals.

I guess you just like to talk the talk.

Lighten up Francis.

I highly doubt that everything you buy is Made in the USA. In theory, buying only made in the USA products sounds good, but my money says you spend something made outside our borders.

Your car?
Your vegetables?
Your clothes?

Hell, you buy gas don't you? Wonder who you supprt when you fill up your gas tank?

Seriously.

that being said, i think you are the foolish one my friend. since i "run around and say that i'm a patriot and support the country" i may as well explain myself. i believe my patriotism and my support for this country runs a bit deeper than simply not shopping at walmart hinking.gif i'd like to think that at some point during my three tours in iraq and one tour in afghanistan that i supported this country and showed a bit of patriotism. i'd also like to think that i've earned the right to talk the talk because i've most certainly walked the walk.

You were a soldier and your service is appreciated. But patriotism does not stop when your service ends, and , you, better than anyone, should understand why we don't want to fund China, who then use our money to fund the people you were fighting against.

That's pretty much a nonsense statement unless you know where the steel and polymers come from.  Same as buying an American car.

Heck no kids would get toys at Christmas if it wasn't for far east imports because we couldn't afford them. Just like you couldn't afford your TV, iPod, PC etc.

Sure, as long as Wal-mart is selling at dead cost. Are you saying Wal-mart is not making a profit? Because you do understand that they take some of those profits  and invest that money in China? You do get that, don't you?

But, hey, you did save a dollar or two  on a box of ammo. Your grandchildren will have to pay the price, but that doesn't matter as long as you are happy now.

You liberals are all alike-wanting something for nothing, and not thinking of the future consequences.

You buy gas for your car?  You must be anti-ameican!  How dare you support those arabs in the middle east!

Also, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw you call me a liberal.  Because I don't want to get into any sort of political debate on here, all i'm going to say is that i'm the farthest thing from being a liberal this side of the Mississippi and leave it at that.

Liberal has nothing to do with owning a gun. Liberals think that the things they do now only need to make them feel good, and the hell with the future consequences to their country. If you want to support China, like your pal Clinton did, have at it. Me, I don't buy Chinese products and I don't shop at Wal-mart so they can send money to China.

This has nothing to do with imports-it has only to do with imports from CHINA.  Bill Clinton's buddy's.

Because lots of what Wal-Mart sells is made in China.
Next time you go to your local Wally-World, check different items and see where it's made.
Especially toys and houseware.

I'll always shop at Wal-Mart for certain specific items, but I refuse to buy any items made in China.

As far as Gas for my Jeep Wrangler supporting the Middle East, That can't be helped unless I decide to drop a diesel engine in it and make my own Bio-diesel.
