Taffy, I had one of these and sold it for twenty quid a few months ago on ebay

I suggest you have a look as they crop up quite often

I'll keep my eyes peeled for one

They are called a Single point sight I had it mounted on my 44 magnum underlever, it wasn't bad

You have to keep both eyes open to use them and the dot is a bit big

If you want a red dot i have got a 56mm Hawke, you can have for free if you like, just email me your address

Taffy has all the symptoms of the AR user.

1. Taffy sees item/accessory/piece of tut

2. Taffy wants piece of tut  new, must have, absolute necessary accessory

3. Taffy wants it NOW.

4. Taffy uses it for a few weeks, then sees NEW MUST HAVE ACCESSORY, DON'T KNOW HOW I MANAGED WITHOUT IT.

5. repeat from step 2

Welcome to my World, where the add-on designers keep one step ahead of my bank balance.
There is no cure, just spend to keep the symptoms down.

I have one of these somewhere.

Its a UK product rather than an Aimpoint, Singlepoint used to sell these to our police and IIRC parts of the armed forces its also practically impossible to break and has no electronics or batteries.

Its novel in that you cant see through it and view the dot on a white background with your right eye and the target with your left eye.

Your brain then converts the two images into one with the dot superimposed on the target in a very fast Carol Vorderman manner so after the first couple of goes its incredibly fast to use even faster than my Aimpoint as there are no lenses in it.

All that said I much prefer my Aimpoint so if you want it its yours for £20.
