And yes, I'm showing off.

ETA: It makes me feel all tingly in my pants.

It would be much better if he had a can to go on the end of it.

Like the rail system.  Is that an SBR or an optical illusion?

Also, how does having the front sight on the rails affect accuracy.  I'm used to the sight being attached to the bbl.  I guess it really doesn't matter if the barrel is tight enough.

Now get yourself an IDS 40 round mag.  BTW, when are you going to TCGC to shoot it?

Mega (Mega Machine Shop).

The Stock is a crappy 6-pos, but I'm swapping it with a Bushmaster temporarily. Eventually it will have a MagPul.

The EOTech and rear Troy flip up are missing of course.

And yes, it's an SBR. 10.5".

Since I can't hit crap with irons anyway....

It's mainly as backup only.

On the topic of the sights ... those flip-up front sights normally go on a gas block with a mini rail on top. From memory, that rail is lower than the flat-top rail, so was that sight designed to be at that height, or are you going to find yourself shooting about 3 feet low at 25 yds?

They make back up sights that compensate for rail levels also. I'm looking into a set for my 9mm carbine now.

Nox is right, there are two height levels. This is a Samson one designed for rail mount. Similar, but better, than the Troy.

Thanks ... thats good to know, I have thought about a low profile gas block, but didn't want to lose the iron sights option.

This would do it for me.
