Just curious. I know a few people who had theirs 5 or 6 days after they went to the Sheriffs office.

It would depend on how busy they were.

When I first applied years ago, they handed it to me at the window when I showed up with my finger prints.

They made me wait about 15 minutes after I gave them the app with the fingerprint card and then sent me on my way.

They mailed my last one to me in less than two weeks.

I guess I am getting well known in this states crim justice system or somthing....

2 days, Bellingham PD.

They accidentally typed someones info on the card I had signed.

They called me 2 days after I turned in the app and told me that.  I went in and signed one with the proper typed info, and they handed it back and recommended a place to laminate it.

9 days for my C&R.

I'm pretty certain I am the only person with my name in the country, I suspect that helps.

Snohomish County Sheriff--next day.

Got it a week and a half later, because the CPL was mailed to an FPO.

Took me 3 days to get one approved and picked up from the Federal Way PD.

Went in to get fingerprinted, filled out the form, paid the fee, and asked when I could expect it.
I mentioned that I was going on a camping trip in three days and wanted to know if I could get the CPL sooner. The lady cop said I could come pick it up in two days. Got there, picked it up and was good to go.

Start to finish, 3 days.

Now my renewal/new issue from the Redmond PD took about 1 1/2 weeks and it was mailed.

Pierce County only mails theirs on he 15th.  SO, depending on what day of the month you go, is how long it will take you to get your CPL.  I went on the 12th, and had mine a few days later.

Too bad I lost all my guns that weekend in a terrible boating accident.

Sno county - Mine took four days. Approved the day after I applied and two days in the mail. Wives came in the mail the day after she applied. I think if we'd have asked they'd have given it to her right then. Same deal with our Florida. My stuff took almost the entire 90 days. Hers was back in about three weeks.

Same in Lewis Co. They have 30 days to approve, and they use all of them.

Renewals are instant, but at an ever increasing fee. Used to be $30, now I believe it's $45.

Your Concealed Pistol License may be renewed up to 90 days prior to the expiration date through 90 days after the expiration date.
If you apply on or before the expiration date, the fee is $32.00; if you apply after the expiration date, the fee is $42.00.

Grays Harbor County took 29.5 days to get mine to me, the basiclly told me not even to look for it for 29 days. The wifes took around 24-25 days.

When I was been finger printed at the SO the lady told me that I was the easiest printing job she had done in a while, I joked and told her that I'd had it done a few times before, both of them STOPPED in there tracks, when I told them it was when I was in the sevice, it looked like some relief to them.

Interesting.  The guy told me that the longer wait was because the new DSHS check was done by hand.  Perhaps they automated it somehow, which would make sense.

I dont mean to hijack this tread but I will try to get my CPL when I go home to puyallup. I will have about 12 days to get it. Since my mailing address for the state of Washington is still my parents address in Puyallup, I should be able to get it before I leave.

Right?
