[ARCHIVED THREAD] - What happened to all the local 7.62x39 ammo?

which one of you b*stards bought it all? lol. But seriously what's up with the lack of 7.62x39? I called all five or six Dick's Sporting Goods that always have a ton of it for a really good price. and none of them have any. Only one of my local stores even had it and its was $3.79 a box for wolf.

they just ran out the other day, but the Gander Mountain right next to the Nascar cafe where i'm meeting you had them for $2.39 a box, and the same price for .223. i bought all the .223 they had left.

well that sucks, i wish i had known that, i would have gotten some in the morning instead of spending $3.79 a box today.

I've got about 3,000 rounds of wolf. I wouldn't mind doing a local trade, 1K for some .223. hug.gif

I heard alot of it was being diverted to Iraq for training purposes. May just be a rumor, but who knows. Heard maybe it would be late spring before anymore would be coming in. This is for the Wolf ammo I was told.
