In California it seems they can add any additional features to their Post-1994 Federal ban ARs as long as they were registered as AWs. I am curious what the language of the NY law is as it MIGHT be possible for weapons build from 9/14/1994 to the enactment of your state law to have additional evil features added....

IE: If your law defines an AW and grandfathers effective a date and there was any changes in the law that affected one definition or the other there is a slight chance that the law left a gap or ... ummm loophole as the media refers to them...

I know if I lived in NY I would want to look at the language of that law REAL close!

By the way Quarterbore, cool website you got there. I have a 25-06 in Rem 700 that I find is the best all around hunting round. Woodchucks, coyote, deer, feral cat, name your game!
