My bullets and tannerite don’t mix (and not in the good way).  Apparently, when a round would impact the container it would render the mixture inert.  Why does tannerite hate me?

8 oz bottle + tablespoon of powder + .223 = boom

I would have hoped so, but not so -- at least for me.

Addendum to my first:

I learned that if you are shooting near CavVet, and he sits down in his chair, you will be sucked into a circle around him as he accuses others of being ghey, feds, incapable of bump firing, etc.

I learned that I am a Fed (boy am I late for work).

I learned that it’s amusing to watch some bump fire a low capacity firearm.

And as always I need more practice (especially with pistols).

How well are you mixing it? Make sure you use enough gray powder, once it is all shaken up 99% of the mixture should be gray colored, little to no white should be showing. Are you putting the top back on the bottle?

It wasn’t actually my tannerite, so I cannot attest to how it was mixed.  However, every bottle he (who shall remain anonymous, unless he wishes to come forward) mixed went off except for the one’s I shot at.  Therefore the only reasonable conclusion I’m left with is that my bullets make tannerite inert.

Without the impotent presence of Gibby the tannerite lost its potency.

I can see it now... Crazed Fanatic enters zoo and kills rare rhino for its horn while screaming, "It makes it go BOOM!" repeatedly.

They have to die of natural causes sooner or later. They may even have some spare parts on hand. It couldn't hurt to ask.

I'd rather have one of those staged hunts from outside the cage.  That way I can say I took down a rhino with my AR (well after a couple shots).
Ya got to have a good story to tell in prison.

Gibby, now that we have established that I’m the 3’5” 500lb purple haired freak with the peace symbol tattooed to my left cheek , which one are you (I’m fairly sure you were to my right).

Negative, 7.62 (not my rifle) worked fine.  My .223 is what was lacking, maybe 5.56 next time.

I mixed the Tannerite.
I had one dude, it was by the big rock on the left.
I picked it up after shooting it and found a hole through it, although it blew most of the bottom off of the bottle.
I taped it up and shot it again and it went boom.

I had 8 bottles left, I thin two were duds.

ARFan, I had to shoot that one on top of the muffler.

The muffler was cool.
What are the chances that both duds were the ones I shot at?  I think my bullets render tannerite inert.

When other ppl shoot tannerite it’s cool, when I shoot it everyone thinks it’s just an empty bottle.

Well just to set the record straight...I was 3 for 3 and the one on top of the muffler......that one was mine!

I shot the one KA3B was gracious enough to give me (Thanks man!) with my AR pistol ()and it went boom first shot.

What I learned after the LCR...Is that whenever Gibby lights up in the smoking bar section.  Hot Babes with WBs magically begin walking into the establishment.  It is truely amazing.

Thanks for sharing...that was fun!
