All I got was another pack of Wolf M193.... worked great in my rifle so I grabbed more. Had money for an AR barrel, but didn't find what I was looking for... decided not to get a WAC membership, as I am leaving for school in 7-8 months, and probably wouldn't get back up there more than one more time.

I was a bit overwhelmed by this show... bit large for a country boy like me...

On a side note.. who teaches you guys how to drive up there? Bunch of nut cases!

Have to say, considering it has been nothing but rainy for the past week down here, it was nice to see some sun!

ETA: Down here as in Washougal, WA.. right acrossed the Columbia river from Portland, Oregon..

Yea - They had to mill out the magazine well and ejection port (takes Tokarev magazines), weld and relieve the breech face, modify the extractor and then sleeve the barrel.  When found, most look like they were done with hand tools in NVA underground arms depots, but this one looks to have seen real machine tools.

There is a custom-1911 house reported to make a run of 1911's in 7.62x25, but the lead time is in years...

May I ask price you paid / board you purchased from on the H&K 93 rifle w/ collapasable stock ?

I have been looking for 1 for awhile now ( choosey - looking for pristine condition and <$2K ).

Looks like you loaded up nicely on ammo and picked up a couple quality rifles.

I got:

* 250rnds. of Black Hills Blue 60gr. V-max.
   (If James had any more, you must've gotten there early in the morning.)

* Snookered by the over-priced "stuff" that Wade's was pawning off.
  (I'll never learn.  Gonna swear off dealing with them.)

* 1K 9mm HSM

* 1 box of 9mm Win. Ranger for a friend.

* The last $6 box of #6 shotgun shells at Bullseye.

Wish I had gotten:

* $2 5/pack slugs  (Brain-farted and forgot until just now.)
* More mags from Marty
* Some cases of MREs.
* Another Aro-Tek extended slide release for my Glock.

Is it just me, but do prices seem to be up across the board?  I'm guessing that since this is the first "post-Shot Show" show, that the new benchmarks for the year have been set.

-Frank

I attended the breakfast at the K-Y corral, took a ton o shit from Olga The Man Eating Waitress, met some noobs, got the stuff charmed outa me by Busmaster's Princess, picked up 2 interesting scopes, a buncha 7.62 Magpuls and 5 more Uncle Mike's soft cases for the toys. Saw several FALs, I liked, but way too much $$$. Not a bad day, for a guy who woke up at 0100 with a cranium crushing headache. I did manage to get all the way through the show, but, by 1100 I was poo-ped!

Hit my last fun-show in Oklahoma City Today before Moving to WA next Month, Got two pounds of Tannerite and a flat top upper. Can't wait to finally meet half the crazies here at Arfcom. When's the May Puyallup Show? I'll be settled in on Ft Lewis by them (and hopefully not getting ready to go back to Iraq!)

OKC has gunshows almost every weekend.
If not in OKC then within 100 miles.

Sooner Gun Show, last Claud Hall I went to sucked. There was probably 250 tables there today, plus $5 to get in for Military hug.gif ! Never did make it to Tulsa, I hear they are close to the Vegas shows for size. Now I just got to set aside some of my travel pay for the May Puyallup!

Then I stopped by Bullseye Shooting supply and bought the Springfield M1A I couldn't find at the goonshow, so I ended up happy anyway!
:)
I just wish I could have laid in some stock on the South African .308...
