We had Scott Conger (Neudecker's opponent) in last month.  He is being supported by the Democratic machine in Jackson, was photographed carrying signs supporting Obama Care, was the moving force behind the West TN Healthcare Gun Buy-Back program that gave $100.00 "No Questions Asked" "reward" for turning in any working handgun, co-opting the Police Department to violate the law by having the participants conceal the weapons sans permits.

His stump speech and responses to questions can be viewed at Conger YouTube videos for those interested in hearing his platform.

Neudecker has been on the front lines of Pro-Firearms issues in the Jackson City Council, of specific note, he was instrumental in helping to defeat the "Opt Out" provision put forward by Councilman Brooks regarding "Parks Carry".

Here are a couple pictures of Candidate Conger from previous displays of his support of issues.

Mr. Conger is at the far left, next to the individual holding the SEIU sign.

Another photo, showing Mr. Conger's mind set.

yep I know Scott is a lefty.

I am a very liberal person when it comes to social issues (abortion, gay marriage, prayer in school, drugs....etc.) Its a personal liberty thing. I just dont think the government should limit anyones private activities just because a majority might see those activities as deviant.  For the record I'm straight as they come, would not tolerate an abortion in my family, and dont allow drugs in or around me at anytime.

Scott and I both went to South Side. He was a standout athlete ad he played college ball on scholarship here in Jackson at Lane. Now he is the head guy in the student financial aid office. Anyways whenever the talk turns to the fiscal issues we do have some vigorous debates. we have to agree to disagree. Just a couple of character assesments about him.....extremely honest, very charismatic and just flat out optimistic.

I have never met Mr. Neudecker. I would like hear what he has to say. Like I said I cant vote for either so I'm lucky I dont have to choose between ideology and friends. I would like to know about that Jackson Sun article a fews weeks ago where this guy posted some very strong anti-gay, anti-black articles on a personal commentary website that is his.

It is a re-post of an article by Linda Hunnicutt. I have known Frank for many years, and can say I have never seen anything racist from him in action or words.

I'm working my way through those videos.  I started backwards cause I probably already know the stump stuff i.e. personal history.

I was happy to hear him answer with a positive on the park carry video.

I think he owned up and admitted there were mistakes made with the gun buy back, and that he would 1) never do it again and 2) take full responsibility for the laws that were broke during the first one.  I think that he was depending on the cops to tell him the legality's when he should of had a lawyer tell him. I didnt know he had anything to do with that program until now, but I do remember when the buyback happened.

he mentions that he has a 9mm handgun he keeps near his bed. most likely because home invasions are way more common in his district and than most neighborhoods in town.

So, you say you know him personally, do you think he is serious that he would buck the Liberal agenda re HCP carry in Parks?

Data from the Chief's visit to our meeting two months ago show break-ins and invasions are more common in North Jackson, probably because there is a lot more stuff to steal, and the majority are at work during the day.

I dont think he has any agenda when it comes to firearms. I see him and talk to him on average of once every couple of weeks. I am always open carrying and he has never expressed the first concern about firearms to me.

Me, my brother and my mother each have a house in north Jackson. My moms house was broken into about 6 months ago and my truck was broken into in my driveway December before last. So I am very familiar with the invasion problem out north. But I spend my days in the Hicksville area and down here it never stops. we are in walking distance of east Jackson at my store. There is a very vulnerable community in LANA. proximity to low income housing increases all types of crimes, so the burglary numbers may actually be higher out north. I havent seen current hard numbers but when it comes to overall criminal activity this neighborhood HAS to be worse.

Even though we have had some negatives out north, none of us would hesitate to go for a walk in our neighborhoods or parks. I go jogging all the time sans a gun in my hood, but no way down here.

We have friends in the LANA area (on Lambuth).  They don't bother locking their car doors because it's better to let them just open the doors to prevent damage.  They say it's not unusual to go out in the morning and have your car door open and the car pilfered through.  They just don't leave ANYTHING in the car.
