No not strip club

I have this problem with Reno as there is very little to do here in the way of nightlife.   Coming from Austin texas I may have high expectations.  Plus I hate sportsbars too.     My wife came home with passes for a place callled 210 North,  Supposedly it was a japanses steakhouse before.  Man it is really nice.  Has all the typical nightclub BS ( plus lots of booting shaking kids doing what i am too old to do)  in the main area and had a cool low key room that the music wasnt too annoying or loud and the staff was pretty nice to deal with.  You couldnt tell the raging mass mightclub was next door.  Just kind of a nice suprise.  
Of course I had to deal with the typical wasted drunk guy spilling his martinini on my shoulder but it was ok the security guys took care of it.  They bought me a drink for the hassle.  Yeah the security guys were actually nice and the one I was talking to just got back from Iraq and they gave him a night job to go to school during the day.   That scores points with me.

Would reccomend this place for drinks and a date the wife was happy too.  

Just a suprising event in my weekend.

ETA there was no thug life in there they had a moderate dress code that was pretty cool.

next time you are in Vegas, come to Tao at the Venetian...I am one of the doormen there....
