Got my Glock engraved. Chose "Brooklyn" because that will be my daughters name when she gets here on July 3rd. Might need to throw some color in it.

I know engraving is not for everyone but wanted to share for those who do like it. This is my second engraving with Bill. Great guy to talk to while waiting to get the work done.

Very cool, pricing looks decent too for SBR engraving at least.

Is that a more recent production Glock?

Yeah. It's a Gen4 17.

Nice!  Any impact to the rust resistance of the Tenifer?  Maybe just hqve to rub oil in in it when cleaning?

He did my Saiga markings.  Great work as usual.

He lives down the street from me. I had him engrave my brothers commissioning date and his name on a saber that I presented to him as a wedding gift. Fair price too

Most engraving looks generic and detracts from the look of the gun.

With that font and purpose, I think it looks great.

Bill engraved my SBR. Great guy to deal with and shoot the shit with while the laser works.

Does he do the work while you wait?  How long does it take?

Not long at all. You sit there and he helps you pick a font, he lets you align it how you want it, pop some safety glasses on and you get to watch the laser engrave it from two feet away on his desk while you shoot the shit with him for about 5-10 minutes.

Cool!  I will have to schedule an appointment.

Edited to add:  I gave Bill a call around Noon today.  The wife and I arrived at his place at 4:50.  We were done at 5:20.  Bill is easy to do business with as well as a pleasure to converse with.  I couldn't be happier with the results.

That would be cool. I don't get down to San Antonio much. One of these days, I am going to do it. I haven't visited the Alamo since I was a kid. That is as good a reason as any to go for the day.

Make sure you hit Texas Pride BBQ down the street also after you get your engraving done. I was in a hurry to get home after the last engraving, but it's pretty friggin good.

Tennifer hasn't been used for a while now.

Bill is a great guy and fortunately about 10 minutes away from me.

He did this for me and I put on glasses and watched the whole process as the laser cut the grooves. Very cool process to watch and its very crisp.

I think it took 20 minutes?? I don't remember.

ALSO Don't forget to bring a biscuit for his dog!
