Going to my Dads.
We got the call my Uncle died yesterday morning, the closest out of all 5 were him and my Dad. My Dad, 75 and bad heart. We are all going down later tonight to be there to tell him, my Mom is freaking out over this. She stayed home today to screen any calls, in a valiant attempt to make sure he doesnt find out until we get there. She thinks it will kill him, I dont think so. I get my paranoia from her.  My old man is cheapsteak tough. It will hurt, no doubt, but he will deal with it. As of late he has talked numerous times of his mortality, a fact all of us know, few of us have come to grips with. Please, no "Im sorry posts", its part of life. A time to laugh, a time to cry, a time to live, a time to die. Long weekend Im not looking foward to.  |

Work work work! Followed by yet still more work.
Im tearing up my driveway the rest of the way finally thanks to help of RS_Coyote and another friend of mine from work. Should have it prepped to re-pour for next weekend if the weather is decent. I might be putting a tranny back in my toy car if I can get the seals for it but that's another thing completely. Hope everyone has a great weekend. |

Saw the movie
Some parts were boring as hell, other parts made me jump and yell a little. I'm very intrigued by demonic possesion now ETA: Now I am freaked out BIG TIME in the movie they kept refering to 3:00 A.M. as being the witching hour for the demons, that's when a lot of the freaky shit happened and I post this for my 300th post??? That's just to freaky to be a coincidence.

You know, I have no idea if I am going to even bake cookies this time. If I do it will more than likely be peanutbutter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. I'm kinda burnt out on no bakes. Unless you guys like cupcakes...those are always yummy....damnit now I want something sweet! |

M16A2 shoot went well.
Lower was marked "Colt AR15" No anodized-hard coat business, just old & grey lower. The "A2" was engraved with a Dremel engraver, as was "Burst". "Auto" was XXXXed out. No fence around mag-well. Arsenal re-work stamp was 2-74. Chrome bolt carrier w/o forward-assist serrations in an A2 upper. Oh, yeah. . . she was accurate as Hell and scored me a 39/50 without having to touch the sights. 1 flyer unaccounted for and I didn't hit shit for the 10 rounds we had to fire wearing our MCU-2/P Gas Masks. |
