Power is now flickering, the Direct TV dish is out of service...
Glad all my women folk are on the way to Arizona, just me and the little guy, and he is sleeping pretty hard. |
I am now running on Generator, and the fire dept just got toned out for down powerlines a couple of miles twds sultan...
But the wife is stuck on I-5 in Kali for a overturned tanker truck! I told her to grab a room. |

Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Du
Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Du I´m singin´ in the rain Just singin´ in the rain, What a glorious feeling, And I´m happy again. I´m laughing at clouds So dark, up above, The sun´s in my heart And I´m ready for love. Let the stormy clouds chase. Everyone from the place, Come on with the rain I have a smile on my face. I´ll walk down the lane With a happy refrain Just singin', singin' in the rain. Dancing in the rain. I'm happy again. I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain. Dancin' and singin' in the rain. |

Lights a flickering away, most the time it kills the PC but it survived the blinks so far
wind rain gusts, the antennas are taking a beating though |
It stopped raining a couple hours ago, the skys are clear, the wind is gusting but not sustained.
Neighbors lost a huge evergreen. Luck for them it went through their back fence and not through their house.
Winds are picking up here, blowing rain and gusts into the 30's at least, probably higher. Starting to see debris blowing around.
Curently hard gusts, light rain, feels like more coming.
Battening down the hatches I missed yesterday (garbage can blew over last night) |
Power off and on several times through the night, lots of tree debris in the lawn, lcr trash can liners left in carport now blown from here to timbuktu, gfi receptacle blown in kitchen...?, river slowly rising.
Wind just took down a small section of my fence.... I knew I should have replaced that old post last summer. Ohh well, just add it to the list of stuff I never get done. power is back on for now.
It's the SUPER BLOW!!!! |
Still blowing out here...
My HAM Antenna, and Shortwave Antenna's are no longer, so I will have to come up with another option for next time. On the brite side, I have been doing the yearly rifle cleaning and have made a dent in it... I wish I had A AR-15.. |
We still have power in Edgewood but I just came from Federal Way Lowes and the power is out along with being sold out of generators. I wish I had got a bigger one before now
Power's back on in our part of Spanaway after 12 hours. Spent the day snuggled up with books by the woodstove - too bad Ductapeman is workin' the funshow, hope he's havin'a good time
Damn. I should have bought some generators just for people like you. ETA: any power outage reports for Renton? |

BAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I woke up this a.m. to find three big ass trees blocking our driveway. The way our lot is layed out means I/We were stuck. So I arrange transportation and have to go drop gun money on a feckin' Stihl MS390 Chainsaw w/ 20" bar, and proceeed to get wore the hell out playing tree arborist in the front yard.
Good part is that is over, and we can get out. Bad part is there are four more trees down back in my woods that need cut up too. |
Had a power glitch at 4:20 AM (I was mostly awake), then at about 6:20 I heard two loud close booms, followed by another that sounded a bit further away. My guess is 3 transformers blew.
Power then went out at 8:00 AM, and came back at 9:30 AM. No other problems. |
Out at R-32's it was raining AK-47s and AR-15s, along with Garands.
Quiet!... The last thing I need right now is CavVet and his little sister KA3B standing in my yard with a Garand catchers mit. |
wish I could have made it, but work before play and this work will pay off if i faint not. Lots of lines down here as well, neighbors big maple came down on the lines. |
Wish ya could have made it also, Jimmy Bunting says hello.... |
Cool, has he upgaded beyond that 6.5 swiss relic ? |
Hmmmm, was you guys shooting out in S. Pierce County? I heard the "neighbors" on the next ridgeline cranking off rounds all day.
Funny that you say that, He was showing it off to us like a proud papa...He mounted a scope in it (wrecked the value for me) and today had a box of 20 rounds wanting to know if I would take him out to zero it one of these days. I have to admit, It most likely will be a pretty good shooter. |
Always a standing invite to do it here, the first time he crawled up the stock and got scope bit pretty hard, hopefully this scope has more eye relief. |
You know that we will take you up on that, You have the best gig in town for a 200 yd range. I went to the eye doc yesterday, and Im going to be sporting some new eys's here pretty soon, which means I get to re-zero my stuff... |
Why don't you guys send some of that wind & rain over to some of us East of the mountains. I hope that you all will have power for the game.
Its been a weird winter season....You guys get wind and rain......and we get very little snow, no wind and hardly any rain. |
Our power came on about 9 hours ago after loosing it Friday night. The yard looks like OdTs with lots of fir braches. We didn't loose any trees but the ones standing around our house survived the '21 blow and Columbus day storm.
