Below is the body of a message that I recieved from Dave White who puts this together.

This is a bit different from a lot of 3gun matches, in that you do not mix the stages (shoot more than one type of gun per stage).  Pistol, Rifle and Shotty are all independant of each other.  I shot it last year and am hooked.  It's a lot of fun, and the folks out at Rivanna do a great job of running a match.

Just a reminder that the Rivanna IDPA Weaponsmaster (3-gun) match will
be
next Saturday, the 15th of May.  Details of the match are here:

To get a complete match and safety briefing, I would suggest that you
arrive by 8:30 am.

Additional Note 1:  Those who wish to shoot a Revolver as a second gun
WILL
be eligible for the Trophy in the Revolver division.  Of course, if a
revolver is the only gun you are shooting, you are eligible, also.  If
you
are going to shoot two guns, you must shoot your non-revolver
First--that
is to say, you may not use your revolver as a warmup for the pistol
you'll
shoot for the Weaponsmaster Trophy.  This is an attempt to get more
revolvers into the match, since they are not very competitive for the
overall trophy.
Range fee for a second gun is $5.

Additional Note 2:  Due to unforeseen circumstances,  there will not be
a
cookout after the match.

It is possible that I will not be able to attend this match.  If that
is
the case, Be Safe and have fun!
And be sure to thank the SOs and the Match Director, they'll deserve it
when this day is over.
