During a recent inventory i discovered two pistols missing.
The time lag means i can not pin point the time/date of the theft, but i would say some time around Thanksgiving.  I made a police report.  I don't really expect much from them (the time passed sucks) so i thought i would ask yous guys to keep on the look out for them in resale.  Possibly, if you go into a gun shop somewhere and see either style-check the serial #s. Maybe we can catch the bastards.

Ruger, Mark II sn#210-77951.  This pisses me off because it was my first handgun. I bought it in '86, its a beater and has wear marks.  4 3/4 inch barrel, frontsight filed down to suit me, black eagle grips, and weirdly enough-they did not steal the magazines with it.

Smith and Wesson, Model 29-2, sn# N741738.  This pisses me off because it was my favorite handgun.  It had just a bit of oxidization on the cylinder where some one bought it and put it into a drawer for 20 years.  I bought it a couple of years ago old/brand new and had the cylinder re-blued, there is a remnant of the old rust if you look at it in bright light.  Its the Dirty Harry with the 5 7/8 inch barrel.  I had also swapped to a Pachmer grip because of recoil (and maybe did a hack job of cutting and fitting one "round-butt one-meant for a square-butt one" that did not really fit).

So keep eyes open in and around the Keene NH area, but Alstead, or Riley's is probably not unimaginable.  Maybe KTP, or otherwise out of state: VT, ME, or MA, but i don't believe my babies will travel far.  Usually these people are not the brightest.  I keep traveling around and watching the gun cases, but you know, a little help would be appreciated, eh?

Any sign of either, please, e-mail me here on the board or call and leave a message for Bill at 603-239-8773.  Thanks dudes!
