Went to the one in JC on Stadium, the guy was putting ammo away at 7:30 this morning. I asked if he had anything good like .38 special, he said no. I was looking at the boxes in front of him and said "Is that .380?" He said yea ....

I asked how much, it was 36 bux for the 100 bulk. He said this was the first .380 they had had this year. I bought 3 boxes and left 3.

Did you at least get a reach around?

$36 bucks for a worthless round?  That is more than I pay for .45 ACP 100 round boxes.

I count my blessing for *NOT* having any 380 in my collection.

Hey, at the funshop it's 20 bucks a box. It's not like I need a ton, but I like to have 1000 rds of every caliber I have.

I don't care what it costs. It's as cheap as it gets I guess.

Everyone needs an LCP. What other pistol can you forget about in your pants pocket?

I just started reloading 9mm on a Dillon progressive.

I have to say that whoever designed the .380 needs to be flogged.

I guess my little pocket pistol won't get shot unless it's pointed at a bad guy.  I put about 200 rnds through my Keltec to make sure it works, and then I put 14 rnds of the good stuff through it to make sure it would eat it.  Now, I just carry it.  It doesn't get carried much anyways.  The G36 doesn't share much time with it.  I clean it every once in a while, and ck the function.  I won't be plinking with it unless I bump into a good deal.

But at least you know right away that something is amiss.

Yeah - about the time you seat the bullet, and there's a little too much neck showing.

I've got a little stack of 147 gr. .380 ammo with no crimp on the bullet sitting next to my press.  I'll eventually get out the bullet puller.

I really hate it when I run a .38 Super through the 9mm setup.  That one gets a heck of a bell on the neck.

On yeah, and back on topic - there still isn't squat for ammo at the Barry Rd. Walmart except shotgun shells and a few boxes deer hunting ammo.  I wandered past last night while the guy at the counter was telling some incredulous customer how "the hoarders" (his word) would wait for the truck to come in and then buy everything.  I just kept walking.

Walmart in Liberty had 2 WWB boxes of .380 on Thursday last week. I almost bought it, but I needed 9mm... I bought WWB 9mm @ Claycomo gun for $18 per 50. Way over priced, but my machine gun is hungry and I have to feed her.
