When we went to DC a couple years ago, there was a seafood market right on the water where the boats brought the seafood to, and they would steam it for you right there, or you could take it with you.

Anything like that in the Virginia beach area?

Any other must see while here? Good gun stores? stuff for the kids? unique, or great restaurant you would not want to miss while here?

Not too far from the airport is a little restaurant called Margie and Ray's. Good seafood place even though it looks a little bit like a dive.
