Connolly had a heck of a close race last cycle against Fimian (Fimian also spent nearly $3 million to do it). Perkins is better on paper for this area, but his fundraising is still at just $200k against an incumbent who just had his congressional lines shored up in redistricting. I still think Perkins is a better bet to keep things interesting though.

And, the whole purpose of this thread is to determine if it's worthwhile to create a "firemission" of sorts to fix that $200k problem. I can see Murray raising a bunch more, and, in effect, wasting it against Moran. I just don't see Murray beating him. |

In the 8th and I am not wasting my time money or vote on Murray. Already told the party when they call asking me to volunteer that putting him up again is a waste of time unless he grows a set and actually attacks Moran instead of waiting for his reach around.

I hope whoever runs beats Connolly. Can't stand that guy. As for Moran, I don't see him being booted for a while with his electoral district.
