Who is in 8th District or 11th District?

The reason I ask is that I'm trying to get a feel for the Moran vs. Murray and the Connolly vs. Perkins races in Nov.  I received a request for funds from Murray a couple of days ago, and, honestly, I don't think Murray can give Moran a race.  He seems like an okay guy, but he's just another cookie-cutter version of the type of R candidates that have proven to be ineffective in challenging Moran.  Of course I will vote for him, but resources (financial and time) are not infinite, and I'm uncertain if the investment in Murray is worthwhile the optimum use of those resources.  The alternative might be for a bunch of us to throw support (financial and volunteer time) behind someone like Chris Perkins (running against Gerry Connolly in the 11th District), if it appears that Connolly might be more vulnerable (which IS my current perception).

Comments, please?

Connolly had a heck of a close race last cycle against Fimian (Fimian also spent nearly $3 million to do it). Perkins is better on paper for this area, but his fundraising is still at just $200k against an incumbent who just had his congressional lines shored up in redistricting. I still think Perkins is a better bet to keep things interesting though.

The Fimian race is partly what got me started on this line of thought.

And, the whole purpose of this thread is to determine if it's worthwhile to create a "firemission" of sorts to fix that $200k problem.

I can see Murray raising a bunch more, and, in effect, wasting it against Moran.  I just don't see Murray beating him.

In the 8th and I am not wasting my time money or vote on Murray. Already told the party when they call asking me to volunteer that putting him up again is a waste of time unless he grows a set and actually attacks Moran instead of waiting for his reach around.

I am in Clifton near Centreville High School.   Understand it is 11th, and that Connolly is a dirtbag.

I hope whoever runs beats Connolly. Can't stand that guy.  As for Moran, I don't see him being booted for a while with his electoral district.
