Can those of us not "in the know" get some info on these shoots? A large gathering of folks with guns sounds great. Need to know the who what when and where though.

I voted "I don't care", but I am going to hang out with some sigforums/black-rifles guys in Atlanta the week of the 18th, but I should be back in town by Thursday the 16th

I think theres typically the 3 F's....... FUN, FIREARMS, and FOOD! :p

I havent been to one yet, but I have seen pictures and they look like alot of fun, plan on trying to go to this one if I can make it :). Got the Beowulf done now and ready to let some people shoot it to try to pass on the Big Bore Disease

Whenever we do this we need to make time for a cleanup after all the ammo cans are empty. I'm bringing my rake and wheelbarrow.

I always bring several rakes, flat shovels, push brooms, trash bags etc. But, with the "gongs" in the truck, I never have enough room for my wheelbarrow.

I'll be there either one of those dates.  had to cancel my trip next weekend since i sold off a couple of my guns, and haven't gotten my VQ 10/22 barrel back yet so the trip wouldn't be much fun.  i'd only have ONE AR to shoot  i'm in for those dates, since i'll have my barrel and my new HK USP to play with

Well I definitely want to check it out. Got a buddy that may come also. Wish I had the time to get my two FAL builds done for it. Not to mention 2 Saiga conversions I need to do. Is there an area for clay pigeon throwers? A skeet shoot might be fun, I'd be willing to pick up a cheap thrower and the first couple of hundred pigeons.
