What time is the shoot going to start? I would like to meet some new people and fire off a few hundred rounds. If I can show I would have my wife with me more than likely.
I'll be there 7:30ish (heck, I might just camp out Friday night) and stay until it's dark. It is pretty crowded on Saturdays but we should be able to commandeer a bench or two and rotate folks up to the line. |

i'm in and i might bring a brother or two, this will be my first meet with fellow ARFCOMERS.
I'm still a definite maybe.
I don't have any side jobs lined up for that weekend right now, but if one comes up I can't pass on the money. If I do make it I've got a bunch of folding chairs and a table or two. I'll know better if I'll make it a week or so before hand. Heck, maybe I'll win the lottery on Wed. and won't have to worry about side jobs |
Count me in............also thought about the camping out on Friday. Any good camping spots on the road close to the range?
I normally go past the range about 1/2 mile up the road. |
so which one of ya'll is gonna teach me to shoot my new handgun?

Strippers? Drinks? Party..............yes I will be there for sure now. We still gonna shoot....right?
Hell, if my recent injury doesn't throw a monkey wrench in the process of recovery, I'll be there with my wife (1911 fan-even has her own) and two kids (10 & 12 year olds kids who are avid AR15 shooters) and weather permitting we will camp out Sat. night......
hmmm......possible range wedding? maybe a 21 gun salute for the passing of the single days. "no more carefree days, no more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches"......Dept. Barney Fife |
Put me down as fence-sittin', along with a buddy - got to make sure work schedule cooperates. Be great to meet more of the Carolina's Arf team - Got to meet Uh_Salt and his better half a couple of months ago out there.
Planning on camping over Saturday night if all works out. What can I bring? (aside from the various AR's and other implements of flash and bang) HC |
Hey my friend may come with some of his toys maybe I can talk him into bringing his m60
I just have to remind him at leat the Wednesday before. |
There is a possibility I will be there with 2 other (father and friend). I will bring the beowulf If I can get some more ammo by then......
Haven't had the chance to see, nor shoot one--what's recoil like? |
If I can find my way there, I'll be there with atleast the AR.
Not to bad.... Its helluva fun to shoot. If you see me there, step on down introduce your self and have a shot or two :p..... Only cost me about a $1.25 a pull , but If I can pass the big bore disease on to someone its money well spent !!!! |
I may take you up on that, I've only shot an AR in .50AE, never the Beowulf. I think I preferred a Marlin Guide Gun in .45-70 over the .50AE though |
Only time I shot .45-70 was in a NE fireamrs 5 lb single shot gun. HOLY COW that sucker kicked with no weight backing the gun...... |

so who's bringin the grill? i can bring some hamburgers, hotdogs, or some buns.
I'll have a grill..................right now I'm planning on camping over the weekend there. I just hope the weather warms up by then.......

Sounds like a typical weekend for me, if i can ever get a hold of any 7.62x39 to feed my AK and SKS i might would try to go, but thats a BIG if. |
