I won a trip to Phoenix recently and have a voucher that's good for one year for a stay at a resort and spa in Phoenix. Living in MN the winters get long, so I was wondering what the best month would be to plan this trip, weather wise. I'm happiest with mid-70's and no rain. It looks like late January to early March is best, correct?

Anything special I should do in the three days I'm there?

You'll have a chance of hitting rain in any of those months and a chance of it being colder than you want as well.  Kind of a crap shoot, but you will probably be good.

I just got back from a little over a week (13-21 Nov)  in the Tucson area and the weather was dry and highs in the 70's.    Places to go Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Mission San Xavier Del Bac in southern Tucson,  Tumacacori is an interesting point of history that adds a lot to the AZ story, but gets a little far out of the Phoenix area.

Winter here is awesome.

Unless there is an odd cold front here while MN has a heat wave, the weather here will be much warmer/milder in the winter sense of it.
