I was in Riverview Sales in Enfield, CT and the owner  said that he would do transfers for $ 20.00.

Dave's a great guy. Small shop but he's willing to order anything that you need and do anything to make a customer happy.

I think he is abit pushy myself.  Plus when I first visited him, he didn't carry .223.  He said he would have to order it.  

Now he keeps a limited supply.  I think this was because my coworker bought a brand new Stag from him.   So him carrying it is an improvement.  But he isn't competitive with other local sources of ammo.  He wanted to sell me 1000rds of wolf for 260 bucks, if he could get it.  There was some mysterious shortage of wolf ammo.

He sells .223 for 5.25 for sliverbear and 6.25 for American Eagle.

Dicks has .223 at 5 bucks per 20rds for remington
Walmart    .223 at 7.73 per 40 rds for winchester.

Anytime I run low, Riverview is third on the list of places to go.  Of course when I finally break down and order 1000rds, it won't be so much of a problem.

If I need an FFL transfer or pistol, I'll see him.

If only you guys were closer to enfield.  I'd buy ammo from you guys.  I'm pretty happy with the used bushmaster I bought you guys three weeks ago.  I bought one of each brand but remington you sell at the same time.  I was pretty happy with the wolf 55gr.  I had no failures with that brand.  The rest kept jamming.  The xm193 caused the most jams and one hell of round over bolt failure.

I'd be interested in the wolf 55gr.  But walmart is so close in price, it isn't worth the gas money to head on down.  Plus I didn't have any problems with winchestor ammo either.

But since I'm looking for 1000rds, how much for that in wolf 55gr?  Do you keep that much in stock regularly?  I'm looking to buy on friday.
