I took a minivan to the AAMCO on Capital Blvd a few years ago. The service was good.
More importantly, they were a LOT cheaper than the dealer. I actually had it towed from the dealer to the AAMCO after I had a chance to compare prices. The dealer just shrugged. |

I work at a dealer and have lost count how many vehicles are towed to us from aamco.

I have had some exhaust work and minor maintenance work done by R&J Mechanical & Exhaust in Apex. It is behind the True Value(I think that is what it is) hardware store, in the same strip as some tire shop(name escapes me).
They are good people, and will treat you right. I have been impressed by their capabilities and service, and recommend them to anyone. He said they do anything but bodywork, so you might want to check them out. Their number is (919) 362-6630. |

Mikes Transmission on Roxboro St in Durham. We use them all the time at work (I work in the fleet business). Great people and easy to work with. You wont be disappointed with them.

Matt at Aamco on Capitol.
Their customer service is amazing. l have taken 2 trucks to them and have been very satisfied. I called most of the tranny shops around town and they all came across as pushy scam artists untill I got Matt on the phone. Matt even keeps a few beater cars around to lend to customers who are hard up while the work is done on their tranny. 919-876-4507 Tell him the "Ron Paul" Bronco guy recommended him on the internet :-) |
