Is it worth while to visit? I will be in Vegas next week and thinking of going there during the day.

Im an SP at Nellis, dont quote me on this but I dont think they offer public tours anymore since 9/11. They used to offer public tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but Im pretty sure they dont offer them anymore seeing as I havent heard anything about tours in a few years. Also if Im not mistaken theyre still remodeling the Thunderbird hangar and museum.  Ive been in the museum a few times and alot of the displays are just old tour posters, headshots of celebrities, and a few mementos of past teams. Not really a whole lot to see.  Las Vegas is not really much of a museum town in my opinion.

It is closed at the moment. Part due to 9/11 and part due to the Hangar Door project. I'm not dure when/if it will ever open to the public again.
