If previous threads are any indication there are more Tech alumni here than UG alumni.  Which isn't surprising since when I was in college Tech had a gun club and UG didn't.  So uh, good luck with that.

The sheer weight of its domineering amazingness offends me. That and I think I'm being triggered by that player's Masters in Underwater Basket Weaving.

You may be correct. How many tutors do you think it takes to pass that major by the way?

Probably about two a week. They usually quit right after the local sherrif work release bus shows up and drops off the inmate, uh  players. They don't like guards with guns in the tutor sessions.

I guess the players from the cow school all graduated and went on to become Rhodes scholars.

Not really, how many has tech won the past 30 or so years again...? Even a blind cat catches a mouse once in it's life.

WE RUN THIS STATE!!

Oh, wait.  I'm not there.  Rather, THAT state!!

I actually wish AR had an instate rival.  It's pretty boring without one.  Everybody has the same tag, hat, shirts, etc.

Tech engineer undergrad, U of A graduate.  Both schools are masters of choke-a-rama in sports, especially football.  I don't know what would happen if they met in a bowl game.  I suppose that is like dividing by zero.

I am proud of Tech's non-choke in a BCS bowl last year, though.  Pretty good for a high school team.

(Most of my family is UGA.  I am the outlier, black sheep, whatever you want to call it.  That means they come to see me when UGA plays UA in Fayetteville.)

I like watching games regardless of who is playing. There are a ton of UGA folks here. I pull for whoever I feel like on any given day.

I had wanted to edit my post above because I felt I was dropping credentials.  I wanted to change it to say that I attended both Tech and UA.  I have come to learn that dropping credentials is asshole-ish and since, I've met many men better than me who never fooled with college at all.

And my interaction with them has made me a better man than degrees on the wall.

Sorry, introspection over.  Continue to raise hell.

I agree with SC. You have to be proud of what you've accomplished in life, and no shame in feeling good if someone else is proud of your accomplishments either. Nothing better to me than sitting around listening to folks tell their tales, whether it be fantastic in scope or simply an old fishing story.
