Drive straight out there. Sportsmans Warehoues will be closed in the morning. It's depressing to just sit in there parking lot. If you need directions IM me. |
How far of a drive is it? I have to sight in my new AR. I live right near there.
If I don't get called in to work I will go even though I don't have many bullets. Damn this poorness.
Anubis, I don't know how many miles it is, but its no more than 30 minutes at most from the start point. |
Carbine10,
Hell, yes we're in! The wife's been dying to go desert blastin' with her M1 Carbine. Should we bring anything......., food, Tannerite........? |
I'm 99% sure I can make it. Is this going to be shooting only, or are we going to "do" lunch as well?
AB |
Let's make lunch out of it too. MMmmmmmmmFFFFFOOOOOOODDDDDddddd!!!!!!!! Tannerite Is A Must. I only have one bottle though> |
Damn shame I work till 0700 on Sunday.
One of these days I gotta make it up to one of your Table Mesa shoots, and see how the Northern half does it. |
There has been an ad in the classifieds (guns/knives) a guy selling tannerite for $75.00 for a case of 20. is this a good deal? If so, I'll get a case. AB |
I plan on trying to make it. (hows that for a noncommital political answer)
May have to show shoot and go, but really want to be there. I've got a couple of pistols to test before they go off for finishing, and a M4 that also needs attention, but mainly I like to watch. Sick, eh? |
I'm 100% in on this. I just confirmed a deal on the Tannerite. Now, for the food side of this. Who's bringing what, and what ya want me to drag up there? Carbine10, ya bringing your mixing stuff? If not let me know, and I'll scare up something. I'll probably just go on out there in the morning since I know the way. Same spot, correct?

New baby= no time. My wife needs someone around to do the lifting, driving, etc. I'll just have to make the next shoot. |
Understood. Some things DO take priority over shooting. Enjoy the new one. AB edited to add: The T-rite is a go! |

I have Tannerite in my possession. Carbine10, please respond.

Just bring ice chest, soda, water, and I'm just going to make me a sandwich to take for lunch. Also some chips. Will bring the grill out on the next shoot. 75.00 is a good deal on a case of Tannerite. I just looked and I have two bottles of Tannerite. I also have a hand sifter and bowls to break down the white stuff. If you know what I mean. I can't believe I said white stuff. No this isn't a Coke-N-Shoot outing. Back in the old days it might of been fun though. Gunslinger808, They haven't been real big shoots. Nice small fun shoots. This way we know we don't have any muzzles being pointed at us. We would be glad to have you and Annarchy come up. I'll post our next North shoot in a farther advance notice It's kinda like the AZSTAN area. But it's nesteled in the Bradshaw Mountain Range and is on legal BLM land to shoot on. Might be a few ATV riders out there, but we all need practice on moving targets |
Checking in here. One member +1 noob as a guest. He will be an ARFCOMMER soon though. I just need to function test 2 1911's and make sure my YHM flip front is moving gas properly, but I never miss a chance to meet the other evil black gun owners.
See you all in the A.M. |
If I remember correctly, it's Exit 236 off of I-17. For reference, Ben Avery is Exit 223. |
Alright then. Grillin' would have been cool, I was ready to break out with the brats, although we do have all winter to ba-be-que. See ya in the AM.
AB |
I actually woke up this time. I will be there in my black Ranger.
I won't be staying out there long though, not enough ammo. |
Well, This was my first shoot with ya'll and I absolutely LOVED it!!!! Great group of people and a lot of FUN !!! When is the next one??? Thanks to all!!
I had fun too, cept I got a bad sunburn.
Good to meet y'all, and to the ones I already met it was good seein' ya again. I won't forget as it was the first time I have seen tannerite! |
Was my first time with tannerite also !!! I agree it IS A MUST !!!! We left early but my face is pretty red also.
Must have more Tannerite!!!!!!
It was great meeting everybody, and fun shooting as well. I too am burnt. But it was still a great time. |
Dam, I wished I had seen this sooner!!!
Went to Rio Salado today with Beagles747 & Misterhappy . First time there...only an hours drive Except for Beagles...lives 6 miles away...Bastage |
It's amazing that a half a dozen guns firing repeatedly can't seem to hit a little plastic bottle. Me included. It was a good time, I apologize I had to leave earlier than I wanted to, I'm lucky she let me hang as long as I did, you all know how women can be. (not YOU Jane) I'm hoping that next Sunday coyote3 will assist me in dialing in that Leoupold so I can back-up y'alls missed shots. That said, thanks for another successful NSG outing. Next time, WE BBQ!

I have major racoon eyes. So yes, my face got a little burn't. Was great to see the regular guys as well as the new ones. Tannerite was a blast. My AR10 was dialed in pretty well for the Tannerite. That is with my cheap ass BSA Mil-Dot scope. Coyote3, thanks for letting me shoot that 762 pistol. It's a snapper! Next time we'll have to do a group buy of Tannerite. And yes I'll bring the grill. Let's say Sunday October 24th, 2004. |
You mean a plastic bottle got the best of you guys. |
My face is red too, but not just from the sun. Those Tannerite bottles kicked my butt today!
Next time, Al and I will be dialed in. |
How about the 24th since it is Sunday. Or the 17th is good for me as well. We could celebrate my birthday with tannerite instead of candles |
Anyone going to the BIG Machinegun Shoot outside of Wikeiup October 15, 16 and 17? (www.mgshooters.com)
azski |

i'll remain more watchful in the future. whens the next one? |
I'm pushing for Sunday October 24th, 2004. Due to my paydays and I want to get a case of Tannerite before the shoot. |
Now that one Annarchy and I could make.
Got a case and a half of Tannerite that she's been wanting to "dispose" of. |

don't you feel like smacking yourself in the forehead right about now? |
great it looks like I will be working on the 24th aswell.
I do have the 16th, 17th and 31st off...worth a shot |
Oh yeah, thanks for letting me put a few rounds through your AR-10...'cept I hate you because I feel the need to buy one now... My guard told me I looked like a raccoon this morning when I wasn't wearing my sunglasses, but this bad burn was worth it... (And just for kicks I offered to fire him ) |
OK how did you guys get sunburned its Oct.?
Don't you all ever see any sun? |
Considering I'm an A/C Tech. Yes I would have to say, I get more sun than most anybody. And I still got racoon eyes. I even wore my "Drunk Machine Gunners Club" hat. At work I don't wear a hat. Except when the temp get's above 112 degree. I couldn't work inside ever again. And yes even though it's October. It still did get up to around 95 degree's on Sunday. My arms didn't burn at all. They stay tanned year round. |
Dude, who do you work for? I have been an industrial/commercial electrician in the Valley since '93, so I know many of the working foreman. I worked for about a dozen companies, some I am proud of and others I am ashamed to admit, LOL. Talk to me, man! Besides, I still owe all you guys free riblets! |
... Dude, if you're sittin' on five cases of Tannerite; Why - Light that candle!
