Just as a heads up, this is "Sun & Surf" weekend, formerly known as "Hog Wild" weekend, which means there is a very good chance that Ocean Shores will be absolutely inundated with Harley riders and everything biker related. The good news is that for the most part the bikers keep themselves and their antics limited to town as they don't care to have the sand and salt of the beach messing up their preciously polished triple chrome plated thingamajiggers. And maybe that sand and salt causes their homo-erotic costumes protective leather to chafe as well.
We'll be heading out there tomorrow for a nine day stay.

Watch the stretch on Hwy 8 from the ORV park at the GH county line until you get to Montesano. There will be a lot of staters there. 67-68mph max, and you are good to go. Should be a great weekend out there.

2 GHSO units between Monte and Aberdeen. 2 WSP bikes between Monte & Elma. 2 cars and 2 stealth units between Elma and McCleary. My guess is Hwy 109 will have 3 or 4 more units. |
