I drove south from Anchorage today to sell my trailer.  Since I was in the area I had to stop by a hole in the wall that seems to always be on my route between Anchorage and Homer.  Guess what I got to hold.

16" 5.56 PredatAR

Incredibly light.  Wish I could shoot it.

and

16" 7.62 OBR

Solid rifle.  The action felt almost frictionless.

Now I really want a 7.62 PredatAR.

Stop by if you want to get a feel for either gun.  I was on the fence and I'm extremely grateful for the chance to hold one.

I had the $ from the trailer sale but I would've had to stay away from home for way to long if I spent the $ instead of bringing it home...Oh well...hopefully soon.

DISCLAIMER...I am no way affiliated with any gun shop on the Kenai Peninsula.  I just wanted to let people in AK know that there are some LaRue rifles in AK that you can hold before buying.

ETA: Clarification

If you happen to be in Anchorage late may, let me know.  You can try my OBR.  I might even have a scope by then.

As an owner of an OBR 7.62 with a REALLY low serial number.....  I wish they would have been making the PredatAR in 7.62 when I ordered mine.

There is no drama here.  if UAFgrad can post that there is a good deal @ SW then viper should be able to say where the LaRue is at.

Should have bought the gun, if your wife had killed you at least it wouldn't have been with a cheap gun.
