ANNOYED!  A cop "warned" that Poochigian will bring back .50 cal. "assault weapons" and there was computer animation showing how the bullet can go through two cop cars.  My response was:  Is your department going to give up ITS OWN .50 cal. "assault weapons" you asshole?!

I guess this guy's trying to become the next politician disguised as a cop chief of police...

Which agency did he work for?

I bet if you look again you'll see there are not agency patches on his uniform and a generic security guard type badge.

An actor playing the role of politically active cop.

Too  late ... I voted already.

Awww, 10 demerits for voting for "Gov Moonbeam."  During the early to mid-7Os this guy was pretty much responsible for dismantling the UC and Cal St Univ system.  During his rein as gov, he that said "university professors don't need a pay raise becasuse they get paid in psychic dollars."  So some of my profs sent him a "psychic dollar" as a compaign donation.

I read on one of the other sites that the guy shown in that clip is the chief of police in San Fran. Friggin asshat!

Looks like electrical tape to me. That tells me one of these things is true:

1. He is not a real police officer so why should I care about his opinion on crime/law?
2. He is a real police officer and his department doesn't support what he says, so why should I care what one lone person against the majority has to say?
3. He himself doesn't want to be identified positively, and if you won't back what you say then why should I listen to being with?

Either way, that guy is an asshat and I'm sorry, but YOU are too extreme and cowardly for California.

ETA: HAHAHAH I just noticed something. It hits the friggin DOOR and goes through door to door then door to door. Can anyone say a 5.56 or .308 would do the same? Moron...

ETA(again): I just noticed that his name tag and the title on the screen don't seem to match up. It's hard to read, but the title is only 6 letter long or so and the tag on his uniform is more like 12 letters long and looks like it starts with a different letter. Coincidence or more proof to a conspiracy?

I just saw that commercial and... WOW.

What really makes me think is how many people will believe that commercial, without questioning, without further persuit of information. And knowing the tendencies and attitudes of at least Los Angeles, a lot of people will.

I saw it a few days ago.  What a bunch of horseshit.  No badge and duct tape over your patches?  Where exactly are you a "Police Captain?"  And no sir, the local mall does not count.

The cop cars in the background have some generic looking stars on the side, too.  They aren't SFPD - I checked their website.  Quite the mystery....

Any hunting rifle can go though two cars.  They should have shown the .50 taking out an engine block, maybe with some dramatic "slicing it in two" effect.

Anyways, get with the Gov. Moonbeam program, our next AG.  Unless the legal issue with his not having his attorney's license goes through.

If Pooch promises to bring back .50 cal rifles, he's got my vote.

I saw this commercial last night and laughed....I hope they bring the .50 cal back....I want one!

You can still get a .50, there's a few companies chambering for 50 DTC and the 50 spotter/tracer round. There's also the 14.5mm JDJ by SSK Ind. www.sskindustries.com/14_5.htm

A little Googing shows a Capt. David A. Kozicki is employed by the Oakland, CA PD.  I don't know about Oakland, but my PD has a rule that you may not wear the uniform or emblem of the department for a political purpose, unless approved by the Chief.  Perhaps one of you who lives in the East Bay could go by OPD and file a complaint.  Make sure you sign the form.  Please also note the Motorola radio and name tag as possible City-issued equipment used for a private purpose.

I'd like to know where he lives.  He looked so out of place with that duct tape etc. that I thought I would send him a nice, new, waffen SS uniform.  That way he can wear something that he will likely be proud of... something he won't need to cover with duct tape.

Perhaps this Oakland cop, and the public at large, should ask ole moonbeam why the murder rate has skyrocketed in Oakland?

Since the Chief in SFO currently a smallish Chinese heritage female, I'ld take a wild guess that it isn't her.

I love these computer simulations.

I should make a computer simulation of the stench from a hippy being used as WMD's.

Or a computer simulation of the city exploding from the impact of the .50 cal round  hitting the surface of the car.

So much F.U.D. in california hat

Reality check time!

WE are educated in noticing lies

CA is full of sheeple

SHEEPLE will fall for this BS

JERRY BROWN is a 'recognizable' name

POOCHOGIAN is not

SHEEPLE will vote for BROWN

BROWN will win the AG race.

I hope I am wrong.

I'm relatively sure you MIGHT be wrong, most of us here for a few years remember what a hash he made of things as governor.  and having the nickname of Governor Moonbeam isn't going to help.

Pooch needs to start advertising and remind people that he gave us Rose Bird and lost the Death Penalty, Adrianna Gianturcco and fouled up the freeways, and how the murder rate in Oakland has skyrocketed.  And then ask if we really want him as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in the State.

PaDanby speaks truth.  Poochigian is less likely to win because he is the better candidate  than he is to win because moonbeam has a less than stellar professional record.

Yes, this is all true, but from what I have seen Poochigan has far too much class to fall to the shithole depth of name slandering, lie slinging, smear the other person out politics. He'd rather win on his qualifications, not the down falls of the other candidate. That alone makes me want to vote him, other issues aside, but sadly those people rarely get the recognition they deserve, especially in a state like California.

Pooch, if you ever see this, you're truely honorable and that stills means something to a lot of us.

Sounds like there was a little something extra in his pay envelope for that little ad. With Mayor Moonbeam as his boss, there seems to be a little collusion that the FPPC might be interested in.

Like any of that is going to matter.  If he's from Oakland PD who the hell do you think is the Mayor.  Gee let's see Mayor calls the Chief says I need one of your higher ups to star in my next polical video.  And the Chief's going to say what........?  Politics CA style.  They probably covered up the badges so the general public doesn't catch on to the ad being a "setup" from his own city.
